c3blu Posted January 8, 2008 Posted January 8, 2008 Its been reported that Arsenal have turned down a £4m bid from spurs for Diarra. How can a player we let go for less than £1m now be worth more than £4m having hardly kicked a ball for Arsenal. We let him go far to cheeply.

Was he not entering the final year of his contract with us when we sold him whereas now SPurs would be buying out a number of years of contract?

Arsene has turned him into a really good player since he's been there - haven't you read the script??
blizeH Posted January 8, 2008 Posted January 8, 2008 Only seen him in one game for Arsenal, but he was absolutely incredible against Blackburn. Completely different player to when we had him, quite often I'd see someone sprinting around the pitch, winning the ball and then taking it past three or so players then putting through a great pass, every time I thought "who was that!" and then realising it was Diarra. :(
