Chelsea v. Sp*rs, Carling Cup Final!

It appears that Woodgate is NOT cup-tied and thus is available to play against us in this match, correct? Boro lost early on in the Carling Cup (ironically, to Sp*rs), and it looks like Woodgate didn't play in either match.

Either way, new January arrivals Alan Hutton (Rangers) and Gilberto (Hertha Berlin) should definitely be available for Sp*rs, correct?

Or is there some sort of rule about the date by which you must be on the roster to appear in this competition?

I dont think so. I seem to recall Gazza signing for Boro about 2 days before the CC Final in 1998 and playing a part.

He was useless too. Went bright red after about 30 seconds and spent the rest of the match in Wiseys pocket.

Hes chased silverware his whole career without any success, so i hope he does play !

Hopefully it will cause some tension in the team, with him barging his way, all for a LOSERS final medal !
