If the price is right, then I'm all for it. I never wanted him at Chelsea in the first place and I have very little faith in him being any better in the coming season than he was last season. I've never seen anything to justify why he was worth all the fuss...not even when he was still in France. He just seems so very average. The loan deal would be a good idea only if Roma will pay his salary.

The guy couldn't beat an egg or Titus Bramble, I'm all for second chances in certain cases, this isn't one of them. Shift him, get some funds to put towards a winger who can:

- Beat their defender

- Put in a decent cross

A simple request and requirement for a Premier League winger.
