Hi guys and gals,

finally headin back to the bridge with a buddy of mine after several years, and now im long over the legal drinkin age it's time to do some serious research into match day pubs ! Was wondering if you could list a few places that are good for match atmosphere etc, pre and post kick off. Headin this Sunday to take our annual 3 points of the spuds so any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Cheers

I know that the So Bar has a cracking atmos, but a lot of the regulars on here meet at Parsons Green and used to meet at the Pelican

Mac is right the So Bar is full of a good crowd and plenty of pre match banter and songs . Lloyds above the station is good for a cheap beer but they sometimes ask to see season tickets or membership to enter .

If not the Pelican is not bad for a couple before the game be meeting Loz and maybe a few others there Sunday PM me and I can give you my contact details if you fancy meeting a few of us prior to the game

So Bar and Parsons Green are the good ones then, cheers lads for the suggestions so far

Parsons Green might be a bit lively if the cup game the other year is anything to go by !!

what happened last year, a bitta argy bargy ??!

If thats what you call a post match organised scrap with weapons outside the most unlikely pub in Fulham then yeah - thats what it was

Yes mate got very tasty . Put it this way a mate who is a Doctor and has a house overlooking the Green ended up giving some poor bloke cardio resuss in his front garden ......

Avoid any boozer Putney way as that is the usual meeting point for the Rottenham lot

The Pelican is on the corner of waterford road about 2 minutes walk from Fulham Broadway Station
