December 17, 200816 yr Had my Xbox 360 for about 2 months now and I have a solid collection of 2 games + the Arcade game. Anyone got any suggestions for me? Happy with pretty much anything really, sport, racing, RPG etc...Anything! :D must buys are Bioshock, Fallout 3, Dead Space, GTA, Burnout Paradise, FIFA 09, Gears of War 2. if your a bit skint then definately start with bioshock and fallout 3. fantastic games both of them.
December 17, 200816 yr Author I'm hoping to get Fallout 3 and am currently borrowing BioShock from a friend :D Wouldn't mind Burnout Paradise either...cheers for the suggestions :)
December 18, 200816 yr Just completed Bioshock on the PS3, and have fallout 3 waiting in the wings. Fallout 3 just got voted the best RPG at the recent Video Games Awards
December 18, 200816 yr Just completed Bioshock on the PS3, and have fallout 3 waiting in the wings. Fallout 3 just got voted the best RPG at the recent Video Games Awards im about 30 hours into fallout 3 and absolutely loving it. so much to do outside of the main quest, and the setting is superbly done. how did you find bioshock? for me its probably the best game ive ever played.
December 18, 200816 yr Old feller here with smallish kids and a wife intolerant of violent games so my gaming world is devoted to Project Gotham Racing 4 which is just about the best driving game of all time. Can't recommend it enough but would also put a shout in for Brian Lara cricket
December 18, 200816 yr I would recommend Far Cry 2 as it is a great game but it's got a nasty bug in it, I've got to about 65% completion on it (over 40 hours of play) and I can go no further as my saved game is corrupt. Ubisoft (the developer) as far as I've heard haven't even acknowledged the problem exists so no patch has been released. Call of Duty: World at War is good and is worth completing for the extra Nazi Zombie level.
December 18, 200816 yr i have burnout paradise,it's alright not like the other ones, i wish i had bought another game instead of it. Left 4 Dead and COD5 i'd recommend (although i dont have either..)
December 21, 200816 yr im about 30 hours into fallout 3 and absolutely loving it. so much to do outside of the main quest, and the setting is superbly done. how did you find bioshock? for me its probably the best game ive ever played. I really liked Bioshock, but to be honest, I have found more 1st person shooters better, infact, most of the resident evil games I've liked better, although they are not technically 1st person. To me, so far, Fallout 3 is much better as it's an RPG that is also a shooter, and some great storeis in there. So far, I'm trying to find why my dad left Vault 101 and at the same time looking for other people's solutions to gain skills etc Scott

December 23, 200816 yr Christ, I'm all over the palce, I've really onl completed two missions in the wastelands, and it took a while. But in doing it there are a ton of towns I have discovered. Just killed off the Ants, and now have to find a kid someone to look after him, but might go to GNR Radio first to get info on my dad. Game has crashed on me a couple of times since I picked up the dog in the scrap yard. I've also got to find food at the super-duper mart, but can't pick the lock there yet. Find a strativarius violin over in the old DC area. Have beaten the Ants, and saved the town from Vampire attacks too. But that has uncovered a load of other little areas I've yet to check out....it's a crazy game, and very entertaining, completely engrossing....I played 6 hours the other day without even thinking 2 had passed! Scott
December 23, 200816 yr Oh and I will take hints, just no cheats! I like to fight fair! Also, any tips on gaining amo and then where to trade/sell your stuff? I've tried with the woman who owns craterside supply in Megaton, but until I find her stuff at the Super-Duper mart, she offers me no "caps" for whatever I'm trying to sell her Scott

December 23, 200816 yr Author Fallout sounds like a verrrrrrrrrrrry long game. Which is a good thing as all the games I've bought recently like Star Wars: FU and Transformers (PS2) have been really short and have been able to complete them in a matter of days. Really need something that will take loads of time and strategy rather than smash and grab stuff!

December 24, 200816 yr yeah it got voted best RPG, and it' great as it's a mix of a first person shooter, and a great adventure. It's good as I ploughed through resistance 2, and Bioshock. Both first person shooters, but very similair the whole game. DKW, I'll need to do the wasteland survival guide...if that is even an option on the PS3 version. It's crazy, you start one mission, and it opens up two more. Even when you're done with one, there are options to further those same quests! Scott

Scott whats worse for me is ill be halfway a quest then come across another which seems more interesting. ill then go off and do that one thinking ill get back to the other. ill then find another one which seems more interesting and the pattern begins again....bloody annoyingly addictive game.
December 27, 200816 yr DKW, have you completed the mission where you leave Megaton to go and find food and pharmaceuticals at the SUper Duper Mart? I think it is the wasteland survival guide's first mission. I went to do it, but don't have enough lockpick skills. SO now I am running about trying to complete other missions, and often becoming "overencumbered" as I can't find anywhere to sell my stuff? Any hints Scott

January 3, 200916 yr what a game, completed about 10 missions, which usually involve some mini missions in there, and still no real end in sight!
