England throw away a 2-0 lead to draw 2-2 with Montenegro. Rooney gets sent off. Can't say I really give a sh*t anymore, don't watch England nowadays..

I thought the worst thing about England were those kits. I've never noticed them before. How is navy blue with lighter blue numbering represent England?

Bosingwa has become the second of our guys (Riccy is still one of our guys to me) to explode over issues with Paulo Bento:
Bosingwa in Bento blast
Jose Bosingwa has launched a scathing attack on Portuguese coach Paulo Bento, insisting he will never play for him again.
The Chelsea
full-back has not played for the national side for more than a year due to injury, but he was expected to be named in their squad for their Euro 2012 play-off with Bosnia.
However, Bento left him out preferring instead Sporting Lisbon'sJoao Pereira
and Atletico Madrid's
Silvio.
Bosingwa
has been left furious and has vowed never to play under Bento again.
"I can not understand what the coach means in Portugal when he talks about mental and emotional issues in relation to me - because I think it would be difficult for a player to reach the level I have if I had those weaknesses," he told Abola.
"With all due respect to the Portuguese league, I play for Chelsea with many of the best players in the world and at this time it is one of the toughest battles in England in recent years.
"I never wanted to comment on this, in fact I just had to respect them because all coaches have preferences and my team-mates deserve consideration.
"But I feel insulted and disrespected by his statements about me. I am proud to say that I have a spotless track record with the national team, unlike him - who emotionally and mentally left much to be desired at Euro 2000 when he was playing.
"It is public knowledge that he is a coach that has conflict with his players. As much as I find it hard, I am not going to go back on my word and I will not wear the national shirt whilst he is coach - he has not mental or emotional capacity to lead a group of men."

Just quietly Jose, those mental and emotional issues I'd suggest are probably in the form of regular lapses of concentration in defence combined with the inability to pick the right moment to get forward without leaving the team exposed. Those issues are such that I'd certainly be picking someone more reliable going into two massive matches if I were Bento. Also your inability to not even acknowledge those weaknesses furthers my belief that you shouldn't be playing for Chelsea with some of the best players in the world for much longer.
But it's ok, it's far better to express your personal dismay, disrupting the teams preparations for the biggest matches they've played since the World Cup. That's surely the best option for the team you are apparently desperate to be apart of.

For anyone feeling starved of football, the England Under 19 team is due to feature no less than four of our youth team players. And you can watch the game live on FA website. From the official site:

Josh played 90 mins tonight I think, U21 beat Iceland 5-0. We seem to always be playing Iceland at the youth levels.

SUCCESS ALL ROUND FOR YOUNG BLUES

It was a Thursday night of victories and clean sheets for Chelsea players in international action including Josh McEachran as part of an England Under 21 side that hammered Iceland 5-0.
The Chelsea midfielder played the full 90 minutes of the European Championship qualifier at Colchester, in which Stuart Pearce's side, who were 1-0 up at the interval, scored three times in the last five minutes.
France Under 21s beat Romania 3-0 at home, Gael Kakuta playing the first 63 minutes and going off with his side 1-0 to the good in another qualifier.
The goals kept flowing as Spain took on Estonia at home and ran out 6-0 winners. They were 3-0 up when Oriol Romeu, who has graduated to this age group this season, was substituted on 57 minutes.
Three Chelsea Academy products were also successful at Under 19 level when England scored late on to beat Denmark 1-0 in Brighton.

I watched the whole game and Josh was subbed at 77 minutes when the score was 2-0! Good to see him actually get some playing time and he played the more advanced no.10 role but after a bright start, he did fade and really didn't do himself justice. Not totally his fault and you could see he lacked game time but he wasn't getting a great deal of ball given to him so kept having to come deep to get it and unfortunately a lot of the game went on around him without him having a huge impact.
It was quite reminiscent of some of Rooney's games for England, where he tries and tries but the ball never seems to be where he is.
THE BOY NEEDS GAMES!!!

Copied this from We Ain't Got No History. Here are the players that are away on duty this week:
I'm not entirely sure why Ramires isn't with Brazil, but he'll sit round of fixtures out. So too will Frank Lampard, Fernando Torres and Didier Drogba, with the latter nursing a knee injury picked up against Bolton. John Terry is, of course a long-term absentee for England thanks to his knee problem.
