If we had Berbatov and Anelka in the side, who would you start up front with Drogba (if we were playing 2 strikers) and why?

Good question - Shevchenko {SMILIES_PATH}/happy0034.gif
Well okay... out of those two, Berbatov is currently a different class at Spuds (i.e. better than those around him) and would probably get better with better players around him. However, we've got Anelka, and with his and Drogba's work ethic, they could form a great partnership. They're both two footed, can hold the ball up well, win headers (and in Drogba's case the flick on as well), powerful, strong, fairly quick off the mark (Anelka especially), don't mind tracking back...
I'll go for Anelka, from what I've seen of him so far, he looks like our best January signing since... well, forever? (Franco signed in February didn't he or something? {SMILIES_PATH}/300.gif )
1 vote for Anelka here.

Assuming they are both avaiable for the same fee, Berbatov is the better player in my mind. However, he'd cost an arm and a leg whereas Anelka's fee was very reasonable for a player of his quality and age and that meant it was a better deal.

I'm not sure what a fee has to do with it, Qaz? All men are equal on the pitch, no matter how much they cost.
Until suddenly their form / lack of, talent / lack of, etc, means they're not. (See Sheva for the obvious example).
If we had them both in the squad, who would you play up front with Drogs, that was the question, mate.

It's official we have just signed 18yo striker Di Santo from Audax. Breaking News on SSN now.

Without a shadow of a doubt I would pick Anelka, Berbatov's work rate is disgusting for a player of his calibre

A agree! Like you I've got no time for lazy strikers who do nothing but score a sh*t load of goals and win games for their team!!

If we had god or mosses I'd go for moses. God's everywhere so he'd be permanently offside!
Seems like a pointless question to ask.

I was gonna say "but God could will the ball into the back of the net", but if his everywhere, then we'd have trouble claiming passive offside
