Just been checking the reserve team fixtures and noticed we have a friendly lined up against the Scousers on Saturday 25th October which is apparently being played behind closed doors. Anyone know why? Do we or the scousers have some secret players turning up to play? Did the scousers nick the crowd? Seems very strange.

Hmm odd.  Does it make you wonder if there might be a trialist or two playing and probably not a kid either.

We done the same against the mancs, it's because it is an unofficial fixtures and it will be played at Cobham. Since splitting the reserve league into north and south divisions there are so few fixtures and all at a very mixed standard, Arsenal and Chelsea play basically under 19, others while the likes of Reading play what we knew before as reserves, i.e. players in and around the first team. The reserve team management have therefore arranged home and away friendlies against others sides so far we've played Mancs home and away; Milan at home and we've played the scousers away. Apparently there are a few other games played against overseas clubs. Saying that the game should be shown live on Chelsea tv.
