That was the Twickenham coach in their seats,as our allocation of seats were full and the police put us in the Cardiff seats!!! Chelsea in the terrace below as well,total mayhem after as well!!!

Remember the play off final,was drinking in the Golden Lion? Just off North End Road,when stuck in traffic a coach load of Boro appear and literally the whole pub empties and put through every window.5 minutes later,same thing happens again before old bill turn up and restore order.There was a Tottenham bloke I know that was there that day and he was well impressed with what he saw & heard

Arsenal -Chelsea late 80s -remember that game very well,when Arsenal came in the Clock End,fair play to them,they got run out in the end but I think most people were surprised they tried! Before the game I remember their pubs been attacked as well.Just a normal Saturday afternoon back in the days!!!

. LOL,no he wasn't ,but they were selling Destroy shirts at the gig,so you never know if he brought one,the next time he's out

My 1st England Away game was Paris 84,going over on the ferry when Chelsea /west ham clashed,docking and the carport been used as Dodgems! Mayhem for the next couple of days,inside & outside the ground.Chelsea had a top firm out there with the Tunbridge Wells contingent very well represented!

Was just wondering why our away support for this game was so poor?,considering the importance of the game and our great away support at the time.Used to go on the Twickenham coach to all the aways but we only managed a car load !

Had a drink with Colin Saturday night for a Chelsea Boys 50th,over in Egham watching a Sex Pistols Tribute Band!
