  1. I think this is a must win really as I think we should stay close to City as possible. They have an easy run of games this month before they play us. I'm sure they could slip up but I really feel we need to be going into that game a point behind at most. We need to take this game by the scruff of the neck and look forward to Hull. Sorry to the Arsenal poster on this forum but for myself, I fear City the most as title favorites, not Arsenal
  2. Thought this was one of our better, maybe best performance of the campaign. The Liverpool goal really lit a spark as we were looking to score every time down the field and forced multiple saves. I was a little confused why we slowed down immediately after our first goal. granted we got a second but we were running through Liverpool and not really giving up much at the back. Thought we could have easily had 3 or 4. Eto'o also had the chance to put the game to bed with that 1 on 1 but give credit to mingnolet with a good save. If we can get someone to bury those consistently though, we'll win the title easily and will be force in the future. Granted our style of play stays the same. For Luiz in midfield, thought he did well just wonder whether or not both rami and him would work together. I'm sure jose will figure it out. blue is the colour
  3. As much as one may like the player this is a result of our summer transfers. We brought in Schurrle and then Willian which ended any chance for De Bruyne. There's just too many attacking midfielders and De Bruyne is the casualty. Your not gonna buy a player then immediately never play him like Willian. My guess is that Willian is just a bit better in training. If he's gonna be sold I just hope he is used as a trade piece for class striker or holding midfielder.
  4. I think it's time to suck it up and get Falcao, he can save the league for us if we are within 6 points
  5. against Southampton, who is a good side this year. We cant bury Stoke.... that's a problem
  6. there's no excuse for this. We get 1 goal and relax. there's no killer instinct to put a team away early. Jose gets way too comfortable with a 1-0 lead. Look at city, when they win they bury the oppostion
  7. better pray arsenal lose tomorrow... they win and beat us in 2 weeks we can kiss the league goodbye
  8. Wake up calls are no an excuse. This is an absolute disgrace that we can't get a result against lesser teams. Cech makes a horrible mistake and ramires makes countless poor decisions. The one that sticks out in my mind is when he had schurrle wide open in the left and he shot it at the keeper. break the bank in January or it will be a long summer.
  9. we may be losing patience but we don't matter. Surely Roman is not thrilled with the results lately and I think everyone, no matter how long you have supported the club know that Roman doesn't have much patience. Mou has revitalized some players such as Terry but has also killed some like Mata. If Mata doesn't get playing time by January, there's no doubt in my mind he will leave. He wants to play in the WC and needs regular playing time to do so. He's too good to sit on the bench and not be rotated in after our players need rest. Using "tiredness" as an excuse at this level is not acceptable. We have players itching to play so why not use them?
  10. I know we've always had problems in November but this November is literally set up perfectly for us with the spot we're in. Our next 3 fixtures are Newcastle, West Brom and West Ham. If we can get 3 points from each of those matches I reckon we could see ourselves atop the table with 3 points separating us from the 2nd spot.
  11. I feel David Luiz might get the nod in this match over Cahill. Maybe to give Cahill some rest after back to back games
  12. Hello all! Been a Chelsea supporter now for about 7 years or so. Chelsea is the only club I've ever supported however I've never been across the seas to visit the bridge. I plan on making a trip in the next few years though! I've seen Chelsea play every time they've played in the states and absolutely have loved the atmosphere and the feel of family that Chelsea supporters have. Can't even imagine what it must be like in London on game days! Blue is the colour!
  13. The tournament may not be the most prestigious but it always feels good to beat the gunners especially on the road while keeping a clean sheet! BLUE IS THE COLOUR!
  14. Yes I agree, he's done what he's needed to do in my opinion. Great to have him back in the squad!
