  1. i did explained about the iranian embassy meet on here before. as i was there, but it was mainly a meet to have it with the left and there supporters, funny evening
  2. i can remember that game, osgood's first time back at the bridge after signing for Southampton he went in for a tackle against micky droy in front of the west stand, droy got the better of him and osgood went to grab the ball of of droy, droy had words with ossie, looked like droy told him to f**k off ? ossie moans to the ref, and droy gives ossie the w**ker sign there was cheers all around the ground, he wasn't that welcome to the bridge that night, most people seam have forgotten that ? all these banners you see nowadays about king of Stanford bridge
  3. to be honest who ever was there, but mainly lefty's,and Arabs supporting the hostage takers , as the word went round there was gonna be quite a few gong there to demonstrate, so we went to front them, but not that many of em turned up though in the end , the ones that did got cleared off,
  4. do you remember after the hassle and odd clumps handed out, the ob rounded us up,around some sort of monument or fountain ? and the press photographers were all taking photos of us with the massive union jack with chelsea through the middle in front of us , then we started to play up for the press, lol then some of us headed off to euston to look out for any northern mobs hanging around, and we just ended up going on the piss
  5. i know 3 from that list, one was and still is a very good friend,we had a leaving do for him last year as he has moved abroad, and the ones i know, haven't lived at them address's for years, and the good mate of mine on that list got a second life ban , work that out ? lol and carshalton, he was one who helped sort out the meet after a game, at the iranian embassy meet when the siege was on, also, he sorted out quite a few meets back in the day
  6. i have gone over this before, but nw london always had a large and good cfc turn out, from the 70s you had from w1 area , Cleveland st , the little estates around soho, covent garden to holborn and at the back of kings cross ( as a good firm of west ham found out one night, they got off at great portland street on the way back from a game, and were gong down west, when they went on a bully up at the tower pub on cleveland st,81 and came unstuck big time ) then my old estate cumberland market nw1, were in the 70s, thats were a lot of the kilburn and egdware rd cfc use to knock about due to the clubs and pubs around the area, we use to use and meet up at the green man and Albany pubs, as they were next to great Portland st station, always a good turn out from around that way, still is then you got swiss cottage, up to west hampstead and cricklewood as well, suggs was always around our area before the band broke through, we went on the coach to man u with sh 77 ? one side of Euston station all the way up the edgware road, paddington to hendon, then the west end was cfc, the other side of euston, somes town was spurs, and a very good firm of them as well, they use to meet up with the Richmond yids and were at new malden when they done the cfc as mention earlier, but the yids did bottle out of the meet the week before, as the yids sad they didn't have the numbers, plus the night they done cfc were tooled up to the teeth, even had a sword and axe up front, but they got the result end off,
  7. that mite of been the night sparkplug, but all ways through it was 77/78 ?but my memory is quite off with dates, i know there was a no show from him and the bolton firm,, and then the graffiti turn up saturday morning,
  8. i can remember the bolton spay up,it was, matt of bolton, he was a quite well know face at there's back then, one year before he spayed mat of bolton at chelsea, we had a arrange meet with his lot and some salford reds, late 70s, we went up on sh coach, got there early, but no sign of em, the game we went in the wrong side of there end after the main cfc firm had run across the pitch and took there end running em out, we was waiting for the bolton lot with matt around the bridge on the friday night before the game the following day, after we played at there's, we had little groups, from the northend rd, kings head to the rising sun, walking up and and down all evening looking to find them,as the word came back they were turning up on the friday night for a meet. but it was a no show, so most f**ked off, and a few of us went down the kings rd to the birds nest club, i had a cousin running the doors there, so we got in for free and went on the piss, next day, we go in the kings head, only to be told about the spray up, he must off waited till we went, the came out of the shadows to spay, matt of bolton, got to say we did find it funny though, told this story on the old llg forum, that last year i was on a job in leeds, got to know a northern soul dj working on the job,as i'm into northern soul,he was from bolton, and found out he was a old mate of matt, told him the story, and he said he use to do it too every ground they played at back then,
  9. did you ever go with the lot from the Cumberland/Cleveland st, edgware road lot tonyz ? quite a few from kilburn as well, always a good turn out, a couple of our lot were from around kings cross as well, one even run the sex shop down kings cross, a Greek lad this was the mid 70s,to early 80s, and if i'm right , that mite be black dave from a round our why, it does look like him, but not 100% sure, our lot broke away from the off at the station when they tried to ambush us, and it rained down bottles and bricks on us, the first picture with babs on the escalator, the lot on the platform waiting for us to turn up didn't wait long, lol, about 30 odd of us ended up kicking of on the cross rd at the junction of the paxton, we nearly came unstuck though, as we were well out numbered, but ob ended up turning up just in time, we did run the y*ds at first s they must of through we were the main lot from the station, then they realized and turned on us, it was a trick the y*ds did on man u the year before i think, we got told about it from some somer town y*d mates, and used it against em, lol
  10. too be honest , I only went to a few London utd meets , I was a bit to young, first time I went with some mates ,I was just 15, we use to meet up with the young ones a few times around Euston , and kings cross, as I lived more or less next to Euston, quite a few met up when man utd played the mid week game against millwall , and got well and truly battered , well the ones that turned up did around Euston ,any man u that showed got battered at millwall as well , the last real meet I went too was a cup game ,with Newcastle down west end , and was going off all over Piccadilly and leister sq ,it was also the meet when everyone turned on the spurs lot , as they started to sing spurs songs , as singing you own clubs songs was really a no no , as there was no in fighting surprisingly ,even with millwall and whu ,it was quite friendly with other firms , but you also got to meet blokes from other firms , millwall and west ham all ways seamed to had the older growlers , funny thing was ,around the mid to late 70s , the y*ds had a lot of older growlers , big old Greek looking grizzly's, but they seamed to disappear after a few seasons ? see if you can find the photo of ss and the y*d face called the Greek , 6 of em fronting the icf in the middle of the road , good photo , eleven if its the y*ds ,the main fall out seamed to be about a few wanted to be top dog, ,but they took it to the scots as well , shame I wasn't older back then , the meets you use to hear about and get told about were mad meets , fight with visiting firms , jocks , any one that was up for it ,if we went to a meet after a game at Chelsea , we always went with babs , and even to nights out down west on Saturdays after games , and would still meet up with some other London firms , there was even a time when we went to go down the Notting hill carnival after the riots the year before there , a hole train load of cfc left Fulham Broadway ,other London firms were meant to be going as well ,but as the train got to Notting hill, it didn't stop though and went straight on to Edgware road , and was held there for what seamed ages , it turns out the OB knew about it ,the 70s was unreal for these kind of meets ,shame i can't really remember properly some of the times ,as it was so long ago ,and most weekends after home games , not all the meets were rows either, some were just plain piss ups with mates from other firms if I'm honest ,lol ,
  11. remember that , he certainly got notice at that game ,and the offs by the docks , that row i think we got lucky with , as we nearly got split up ,and just held , but after that we done well ,but Sunderland had a top firm then and some game blokes , always respected them ,,the couple i remember sh first sorting out , was Sheffield utd mid week night game ,when we came out , we got away from the main cfc crowd , and came up behind the Sheffield lot, when they were trying to get at the cfc escort near a big library , town hall sort of building on a square ,we just steamed straight into the back of them , with the main escort then clearing the rest of the Sheffield firm all over the place ,one time we got a plain to work properly after a few f**k ups ,lol , also the Blackburn game at there's ,sh had organized the trip for us . when we got of at Crewe waiting for ,i think man u ? but ob put us back on a train to Blackburn , when we got there , the amount of ob waiting for us was unreal , nearly more ob than us , rather than go out of the main gate , we went out of a side gate to get away from the ob , but they soon caught us , as lead us through the streets to the ground , playing hide and seek from the ob on the rail way was unreal when you think of things ,
  12. from what I remember ,sh was around from about 77/ well ,started to get noticed , Sunderland away was when a few say , but at Newcastle which I mentioned in another post I can remember a few of us hanging around with him , then the first coach trip tp man u , which he organized ,shown him for some one who could call things , but it was still babs and dh that called the shots back then ,well 76 when we started to get involved , early trips to millwall ,Bolton ,spurs .the northbank arsenal when we took it , leading the first time was dh , the second time babs with little s ,one game person , but with dh ,was a few people that help out , Glasgow S ,if anyone remembers him? and tom from Islington ,he was a caretaker , the one we met up with to got to millwall when we went in the cbl , there was also different firms that went , Stockwell , Battersea and so on , but us lot from nw London in the early days followed either dh or babs , but I think babs took over from dh slightly because we would meet up down the west end on Friday /Saturday nights down clubs, well mainly the Sundance at Tottenham court rd ,which I can't remember dh doing ?this was late 70s , you had greenaway ,but he wasn't know as firm as such when we started going ,with some of our lot from nw London , by the mid to late 80s one or two started to get know and sort things, but will keep of here , as for Jenkins , when I went with some arsenal mates to see them play at Ipswich ?77 ,we went in there end , and kicked of , OB went to nick me , and he pulled me away , and saved me , he wasn't as well know as other arsenal face's , but he was sweet as , a nice bloke , better than quite a few I met over the years at football , including a few at ours , but babs did have a one on one with him at saint pancras station when we went for a walk around , and he nicked his red bobble hat he all ways wore ,got other things to post , but don't want posted to get long winded ,lol
  13. the one page I missed reading on this thread ,I saw your post
  14. just saw this after posting about the same song
  15. one chant I remember hearing for the first time , all thought it was probably sung before ,was when we got in with the arsenal lot in the northstand ,77 ,the same year we took the northbank we opened up in the middle of them and back them of at first before ob moved in ,and the arsenal regrouped , then the song started up , we are mad in the head where the northstand not the shed
  16. hello ,first post on here , hello mike , I've asked about this incident and if any one remembers it a couple of times on other forums ,it was the 76/77 season before the start of it ,we were all in the shed waiting for the usual attempt by wh on the shed ,but nothing happened ,and there was no attempt by wh to take the shed , but they had a fair firm down the northstand though , it was babs that got a few together ,and we gathered around the brovil entrance ,the plan was to be taken around the back of the west stand into the northstand ,that's when we gave it the united bit ,a lot in the shed started to look around at us , ob came straight up to us , and it looked like for a moment that they was going to take us , but soon some of the regular OB sussed us , and then spotted babs ,then a few started to laugh and told us to f**k off , at the time ,I was going to collage at east ham, and it was full of whu there , cass was in my class , the following day , they knew what had happened , and they said at first they thought it was a wh firm in the shed ,so they must of saw what was going on , also another incident I'm trying to see if any one was at was at Newcastle ,the following season ? when at Newcastle , on the way back , a small firm of Newcastle , got in the escort back to the station ,about 15/20 odd , it was sh that sussed them , they were at the back of the escort , over the motorway on the bridge ,we fronted them, and went into them , but ob were straight on us ,we got on the train , and wondered what they we up too ? but when our train pulled into the main station , after being on the special for 5 mins , a Newcastle firm tried to attack the platform and train , but we emptied out onto the platform ,and waited for them, but none really made it on the platform , the ones at the front back them off ,that's when we resized why they wanted to get on the train with us , so they could help out with the ambush on us , would of good a plain if it went through
