  1. I think Arsenal has the worst calendar of the 3. Chelsea, at least on paper, have the easiest of the 3, but easiest doesnt mean its easy. From the current top 10 sides, Chelsea will only travel to Aston Villa and Liverpool. At home we get Arsenal, Everton and Tottenham, which I would expect us to get at least 7 points. Arsenal will still travel to 4 top ten sides. Chelsea, Pool, Everton and Tottenham. At home they still play both Manchester teams. City is in the middle IMO in fixtures difficulty. They travel to 4 top ten sides, Liverpool, Arsenal, ManU and Everton. I put them ahead of Arsenal because at home they have a pretty comfortable looking calendar, in which they only host 2 top ten sides, and they are Villa + Southampton. Of course this is all theoretical, there will be more surprises Im sure, against the bottom 10 sides. I fancy City to drop points at Norwich for exemple. Chelsea will also have some tough games against other sides Im sure, as seen against West Ham. But from a theoretical point of view, I have no doubt that we have the best calendar whilst Arsenal the worst.
  2. Mata wold never be Morrinho's first choice. And when you see Chelsea play, it's easy to understand why. He just doesn't have the will/stamina/availability to defend when needed. Look at Hazard, one of the best players going foward but he tireless going back. On the other hand Mata wouldn't accept his bench status.. So selling was natural . Plus, 40+ million euros is a fair price. The only thing that probably wasn't the best idea was selling him to a club that will be a direct rival in years to come (if they decide to get rid of Moyes).
  3. Chelsea can't let this player go. The more I see him play the more I think he will be the best in the world in 3-4 years time.
  4. It really is one of those matches in which is difficult to single out a player. The whole team was fantastic. But I gotta go with Matic. Not only because of the performance but it also was his first premier league start, and in such a high profile match, and he didn't seem even a bit nervous or pressured. Really great start for him. But I must also mention Gary Cahill, what a game he's had. When you try to imagine the word's best defence (and Chelsea is one now) you surely wouldn't imagine Cahill in it, but he is really a top CB nowadays. And that's what Mourinho does, he makes players so confident that they excell all expectations.
