It's good to have a few unsung heroes in the team, keeping them unsung isn't easy though, I use to think of Brana as one, not any more. As the previous post stated, having a secret weapon up your sleeve has got to be a good thing.

Not only met but played alongside Ron Harris, his brother Allan and various Fulham players including Fred Callaghan. In the sixties I went to Spencer Park School in Wandsworth, a school with ties to Chelsea, Chico Hamilton and the late Peter Houseman were Spencer Park lads. Once a week we would play football and pro's would attend to "coach" us, invariably that meant them just playing alongside us, the playing fields were on an incline and Ron invariably played for the down slope team in the first half, switching sides at half time and continuing downhill. Hard to imagine a PL player nowadays sharing a double decker bus with a mob of unruly schoolboys going to play footy. In recent years worked from an office in Savile Row which had a tailor next door which was very popular with players seen Harry, Frank and JFH coming out of the store, always acknowledged a hello.

I'm surprised Jose has got away with Sunday's interview without bringing "the game into disrepute", he will have to appear on the show more often, perhaps with interviewers of a better calibre.

After todays press conference where once again Jose was pressed on the Matic suspension but gave the press nothing for fear of trouble I wonder what caused him to have a change of heart with the goals on Sunday interview where he was open, honest and candid about his views. What happened or was said on the Saturday night after the Burnley game for this u turn in his approach? Does anyone have a theory?
