Yeah your right, I thought they was injured. Still think we will score.

Jorginho is.... (well now was) a Blue
Not sure, his just so slow it's easy to counter attack against him and he needs to make too many tactical fouls.

Jorginho is.... (well now was) a Blue
So you said his like Xavi 😂

Jorginho is.... (well now was) a Blue
Lot more to the game than stats, players get assists for a 5yrd pass and then someone smashes in the top corner from 25 yards. I normally find someone who uses stats is struggling to actually find anything else to defend a player.

Jorginho is.... (well now was) a Blue
Last year he was poor, j personally think his defending is a liability and I wouldn't feel comfortable as a defender with Jorginho in front of me.

Jorginho is.... (well now was) a Blue
Who the hell has said that ffs, they are nowhere near there standard lol. All you bang on about is Pep wanted Jorginho and stats.

Jorginho is.... (well now was) a Blue
Your his agent though so you would say that, how do you know Jorginho was the best passer in the league? Did you watch every player for every team?

Jorginho hasn't been good for 2 seasons, last year he was poor and this year he has been good in patches.

Play the right front 3 and I think we can do them at home. They have injuries at the back and Alaba playing centre back, a front 3 with high pressure can cause there defence into errors, plus I reckon set pieces will be key for us.

I'm not sure either, he wants to drag the ball back and there's nothing he can do once Dave makes the tackle.

Super Frank Lampard
What change though? Could be a run of fixtures, change in attitude by the players. I'm just interested what the change was.

RLC and Pulisic are badly missed. Pulisic has scored the same league goals as Willian, CHO and Pedro put together, RLC offer goals and strength. Add them to CHO and Abraham and it looks alot better.

Southampton changed it up but didnt win in the next 4 games after the 9-0 loss. Plus in that 9-0 loss Southampton got a 12th minute red card and those sort of games happen every now and then. I dont think anyone can comment apart from Southampton fans whether the Southampton manager really changed things up like formation, players and tactics. Regarding Lampard I do agree there are certain things he could do but I also think his options are limited. The squad has old average players set in there ways and injuries. I have said this a few times now but I would have played a back 3 last night and brought Tomori on the left side. Played Alonso and James because we all know Pedro, Willian and Batman would not offer alot. I've seen Ole change it from a back 4 to a back 5 quite a few times this season. I would take our back 5 and midfield over Utd's and it would have made us more secure at the back, just my opinion though.

Son is out for the rest of the season.

Good post, when you see the amount of youngsters who have had to be first team players and the amount of average aging players its not a great squad. Kante who is world class has been injured or average, Rudiger injured or average, Jorginho hasn't exactly been great and these are all our experienced players. When you put down the players on your list too Lamps has done well to get top 4.

It was the same in the 90's too, all the southern armchair Utd and Liverpool fans, I saw there teams play more than all of them put together.

Paitek, Mandzukic, Haaland, Alcacer, Bergwijn, Carrasco, Suso are all deals that happened in Janaury and would all offer more as a striker than Batman and Giroud. Rumours of Mertens and Cavani all January, I dont know if they was available but I can't imagine Cavani wanted to sit on the bench for 5 months. Let's not all get defensive over the board, they had a whole month to sign someone in a position every fan could see we needed, it's not like there are a select number of players, if you want a player you can get them even if you have to pay more in wages. IMO signing someone of the quality of Cavani increase the chances of top 4 by a big amount, i see paying his wages as worth it

Chelsea v Man Utd (PL) Mon 17th Feb 20:00 GMT
Maybe he should retire, he wouldn't be at the club if it wasn't for the transfer ban, should have gone in January but this is the card Lampard has been dealt which I think is really poor by the board. Every fan could see the obvious that we needed a striker, champions league football is for the taking IMO. Problem is Giroud looked shattered at the 60th min mark in the Europa last year against part timers, I dont know the reason why Lamps plays Bats, maybe he wants some pace, a runner who can run the channels and long balls, I'm just guessing but I really dont think Giroud is much better.

You do realise nearly every footballer has a weak foot, you watched Dave on his left ?
-
Chelsea v Man Utd (PL) Mon 17th Feb 20:00 GMT
Now we are getting silly, of course two of the best players ever would have scored that chance.
-
Super Frank Lampard
Giroud can't get past the 60th minute and his level is poor Europa league teams, let's not make out he is some superstar because Batman is so poor, Giroud should not be in any top teams squad, board had a whole month to find a replacement.

Chelsea v Man Utd (PL) Mon 17th Feb 20:00 GMT
How many players have a weaker foot as good as there strong foot? Not even Messi or Ronaldo can claim that. People forget this is a player who's confidence is shot, a replacement should have been brought in the winter transfer window. People now claiming Giroud is some star studded striker ffs, he cant even get past the 60th min mark.
-
Super Frank Lampard
Not really sure what else is Lampard meant to do? Bunch of injuries in an already poor squad, no improvements in the transfer window when he asked for some. Pretty obvious to me Lampard had overachieved and we needed the players to kick on, could well get punished for it now.

His not left footed, Abraham wouldn't score that.

I find it more a lack of creativity in the team, looking at the team gave me no confidence and that's why I thought Alonso and James would be better as wing backs. Out of all the players available tonight IMO they give the best creativity. If they was both playing i would have played Giroud and tell both wing backs to get that ball in.
