Jose isn't going anywhere. If people wanted a relaxed working environment they have no idea what Mourinho is about. He's a cold, ruthless winner that demands the best in any situation, Jose is that, Fergie was that. What the club need to do is what Utd did, adapt to his personality and support the manager because they knew what we know now, there's no one better for the job. The board/owner failed to do it in the summer, the organization wasn't there and we ended up trying to get months of negotiation in a week, but even with that the team and the manager that walked the league 3 months ago are still good enough to do it. We had an unlucky set of events and the ball was rolling from there, we'll sort it out soon, no doubt about it. The biggest problem in the team for me is Fabregas, not only now, last season, first/second half and the moment he was signed. Not good enough defensively and tactically to play as a deep CM, doesn't have the energy to play BTB and not productive enough to build the team around as a number 10. He's simply not worth the sacrifice and that was the key player we needed to replace imo.
Roman experienced two managers in 2007, he's not stupid and he now knows that he has the best in the world who is also proper Chelsea. Hopefully, Mourinho is going to be here for a long, long time and we're his last club job or at all.
As for the "Eva incident", personally I like to look at things from different perspectives, in this case the media and what a joke of a week that was in the sports newspapers/websites, but I can't blame them if people now see it as an "Eva incident", job done for them I guess. Reality is there's not an Eva incident, it was a medical team and could have been anyone else from staff to players. Could have been handled better? Sure, but we know who he is, we know his passion and pride in his work. The moment things changed is when she decided to put herself above the rest of the group and present herself in public as a poor worker being bullied by her evil boss. Unacceptable in any working environment and especially to a man who by all accounts (and that doesnt mean some imaginary Diego Torres garbage) prioritizes loyalty above all. She did a good job, but if it's now impossible to fix, we'll find someone better and move on. I can't believe that any player with pride in his profession will dare to even suggest that this situation had any effect on team performances, and if that player exist, hopefully he plays at Arsenal with the rest of their mentally soft club.
Win tomorrow, win on Saturday, at all cost, 1-0s, 10 behind the ball, anything just to get that confidence and we'll be back.
