  1. Really do not see how Wanyama is an upgrade. When Ramires is fit he has a great engine on him. Very underrated player in my opinion. Since he has come in for Cesc recently we have looked a lot better in the middle.
  2. Let's be real... Leicester would not consider selling him for anything less than £30m+...Yes he is scoring goals this season. 1, will he want to leave the club sitting top? 2, will he be a hit next season? Answer is probably no and no. We all know English player tax is £10m+. There are a distinct lack of world class strikers around to poach. They are all at Barca, Madrid and Bayern, apart from Aguero. Torres has been scoring again, maybe a loan deal? hahahahaha just kidding.... i really am! I am a fan of Cavani. Think he would be great for us in the Prem. Not to long to see who Guus goes after.
  3. I don't believe Drogba would want to give up playing at the moment as he is having a ball out there. As it is their end of season we may be able to use him in an "Advisory" role until Feb or March (Whenever they kick off again in the MLS). The players adore him and he brings confidence to the squad. If you look at all the behind the scenes footage from Chelsea TV etc... it was always Drogba in the middle getting the team going and having a laugh. Maybe we only need him for a couple of months to get confidence going again. Then maybe when his contract ends he may want to consider a permanent coaching role?
  4. As much as I/we would all like a "Long term Manager" we would all happily accept a new one every 3 years if we were winning trophies as we have done over the past 10 years. As for the new man to come in, in my opinion only Pep and Ancelotti are on that elite level that Jose is on. We all know Ancelotti has been confirmed as Bayern's new Manger so it has to be Pep. Should one of the Mancs snap him up then i would happily settle for Simeone. He has the passion needed to get our players working hard for the team. I think we are in good hands with Guus until the end of the season. If they can get Drogba to play some part that would be great for morale in the dressing room. If Guus does manage to get us into the top 4 which is not impossible as all the other teams are dropping points too, then why not give it to him? Up the blues!
  5. I think it was a much better team performance. More drive and determination from all. I'm going to say Costa as MOTM as he looked hungry again. He done everything but score. I mean everything... Even having a Barney with Casilas.
