  1. Trust me, if you go back to my earlier posts when we were 3 months into the first season with Frank I was absolutely loving football. Even this season, becuase what more can you ask for? A club legend managing the club and we're playing great, but reality decided to kick in and it looked more and more that he was out of his depth. It's very rarely nice sacking managers, and I've hated most of our sackings, this one I do actually agree with though. I was always skeptical of Frank due to his lack of experience and CV, this 2nd season feels like Di Matteo all over again.
  2. Well if they've already won the league now and it's January, that must mean Frank has finished midtable and it's set in stone, in which case, I'm happy with the decision...
  3. Excellent post, my sentiments exactly, hope you stick around.
  4. I think so yes, do you think they're going to win the league? I don't.
  5. And to the people who are demanding patience now, many of them had little with Sarri. Argo actually exposed a user on here the other day for it, who was calling for Sarri's head in November/December meanwhile calling people who want Lampard replaced after a year 1/2 the "Xbox brigade" and "fickle" whatever else.
  6. Just a bit convenient. The consensus on Frank from rival fans is that he's overrated, that's what I've gathered from browsing other forums. Arsenal Mania, Redcafe etc. Especially the last month or so, none of them had anything positive to say about him and wanted him in the job, similar to how we did with Arteta and OGS.
  7. So now rival opinions matter?
  8. I know it's horrible, I'm just surprised why so many people are surprised, the writing was on the wall. I take no joy in it, but I agree with the clubs decision. No matter what, he still did a very good job in his first season, so credit to Frank.
  9. Over Lampard? Yes.
  10. I said I'm not a Tuchel advocate, but I would have him over Lampard definitely, as I would many other managers who offer more experience and a better CV. I've already declared my position on this many times, I said, get an interim and in the summer go for a top manager like Zidane or Simeone and give them the resources to build a team and get them going. Both have great accomplishments to their name.
  11. I'll be very surprised if those 3 players aren't playing, they're good players, Reece James especially. I think you're overreacting there.
  12. Compared to the manager who never won anything and started his career just 2 years ago? I'm not a Tuchel advocate by any means but it's weird why so many people who cling onto Frank go about criticising managers who have actually won silverware and accomplished things.
  13. It all boils down to that game. The way our players couldn't even turn up to a team that were incredible out of form and needed a spanking after beating us in the Cup Final. Our players went there and made them look like prime Barcelona, it was a f**king joke. Lampard isn't the centre of all of our problems here, there's definitely an issue with player power and the players just decide not to turn up if it suits them.
  14. They're both incomparable to Lamps, both versions won trophies and had a much better win rate.
  15. Wanting Frank gone makes you a fake fan? Ridiculous statement. It's an opinion, if you're respectful, and raise a good argument, you can definitely be reasonable and a "real" fan of this club for wanting a managerial change.
  16. You really think it's Marina who's scouting our targets? She's a negotiator...
  17. Many managers have to work under a DOF, and are usually successful. If not we we end up having a transfer window like we did under Conte when we signed Drinkwater, Bakayoko etc.
  18. I only go on Twitter for a few accounts and Chelsea info. The comments below it I never read, it's full of absolute dickheads.
  19. Loads of twats on Twitter, but that's to be expected. Nobody on here, and nobody on here should be tarred with the same brush. I think this is a good decision by the board, the sooner the better if you ask me but it brings me no happiness to see Frank get the sack. I accepted it a few weeks ago that he was going to go, it was only a matter of time, that's why I was very upset after the Arsenal game, I knew then and there it was never going to work out.
  20. There's no legitimacy to this contract, no need to overreact about it just yet.
  21. Love Frank as a bloke and wish him all the best, but I think this is the right move by the Board if so. I think it's the right decision going forward.
  22. You're under the impression that we can sell Kepa. We can't sell Kepa, for the same reason we can't sell Drinkwater and Bakayoko. He's going to be here for the rest of his contract, it'll take a miracle for someone to sign him and get him off our hands, and with the wages he'll be on, he would be stupid to take a big pay cut. Because at the moment who will even want to offer him 20k a week considering how bad he is lately?
  23. Hopefully we can do the Chilwell move and get him down to 50 million. I think anything over that is way too much.
  24. I don't think you're being unreasonable by any means, we just disagree on whether or not he should be given more time. I really want him to prove me wrong, but I just don't think he will. But I've already explained my position on this anyway. I only take issue with the Klopp comparisons and other false equivelancies that don't work but are still being used on here.
  25. It went over your head, clearly. Di Matteo was a legend. Talk about Frank having a great season, Di Matteo won a Champions League and an F.A. Cup in 5 months here. How long did he last the next season? About 3/4 months? And what's he doing now? We definitely regretted that one didn't we.
