it's fenerbahce
You're right man, the game was played in Germany due to an explosion in Istanbul and UEFA decided it was dangerous to play the game here and Chelsea beat them 0-2 with the goals from Hasselbaink and Bridge. http://www.uefa.com/competitions/ucl/hi ... index.html They are so characterless that they can even sell their souls just to irritate us.

We beat our enemy Besiktas 2-1 away today with the goals from our captain, our hero, our saviour, our everything Alex de Souza. In the absence of Deivid de Souza due to suspension, Colin Kazim Richards also played very well and assisted Alex . I was there to support my team and am very tired now. I'm gonna write about the game tomorrow. Those black and white bas__tards wore your (Chelsea's) uniforms and scarfs to irritate us forgetting their shameful record of 8-0 defeat against Liverpool. I've forgotten to write about Kasimpasaspor game. As I wrote before, everybody expected an easy win from us but the game wasn't as easy as it was expected for us. In the first half, we created several dangers but came up empty. Just like the previous match with Konyaspor, Zico played our striker Semih for the defensive midfielder Selcuk and the difference between the teams have been clearer after we played with two strikers. Semih, again did the magical touch for us for setting up the running right back Gokhan Gonul, when everyone expected him to pass shortly to Alex. After the ball was directed to Gokhan, our players moved inside the penalty area and Gokhan played an easy mid-range low pass to Alex who had no mistake in finishing. After Semih's appearance, we found our character and tried for more. It was again Semih who created an open space for Alex just beside the arc and put up the rebound after the Brazilian's deflected shot from the goalkeeper. Kasimpasa moved the defenders forward to find a goal but again Semih won a ball in the middle of our halfcourt and kicked it randomly forward which was a good opportunity for Kezman to force the only defender run on his way and leave Deivid open in the reverse wing. Kezman had no mistake to find Deivid who had an easy effort to beat the helpless goalkeeper. Deivid was shown a yellow card and will be suspended for the derby this weekend. That was a sorry news for us as Deivid is a player who takes responsibility and always tries for new things instead of giving a boring pass that every player can give. Everybody is now focused on the following games which are of great importance for our league and CL campaigns. I am also one of the 1604 Fenerbahce fans that will support their teams live in Inonu Stadium against Besiktas. The last time I was there, we lost 1-0 with the goal of Bobo, but it was our Turkish Cup unluck, that makes us away from that f**kin' Cup since 1984. Fortunately, Bobo was suspended 4 games following a red card and pushing the referee on the chest previous week against Istanbul Buyuksehir Belediyespor and will miss the derby.

Fenerbahce's formation
Lugano isn't a man you can frighten with physical contacts. As Sydney says, he is always in touch with the strikers and he does the dirty things and fouls. He's also very strong in the air. I would try to beat him on the floor, not in the air.
-
Fenerbahce's formation
You're right mate, and if I was a fan of Fenerbahce's oppositon, I would hate Lugano, too. He was also very successful against Ibrahimovic in Saracoglu in the first matchday. He had been selected the best defender of South America, ahead of Cicnho, but he is weak in putting the ball into the play. He sometimes sends the ball to touch although he isn't threatened and his long balls are horrible and he is usually shown cards. If I were Grant, I would try to create variations that will send Cole or Kalou one to one with Lugano in open space. By this way Lugano may be awarded a red card. In my opinion there isn't a player among all of our centre backs, who is known for his quickness and pace. Thank god that Carlos and Gokhan, our right and left backs, are fast enough to cover their slowness.

bias sky from start to present!
If I'm remembering correctly, Gallas was sent to the Gunners in exchange for Ashley Cole. He didn't want to leave but the club sent him to Arsenal. So why do you swear to him. If I'm wrong and he wanted to leave or he made something to make Chelsea fans angry, excuse me. You may of course swear :)

Sorry for the forum rubbish but...
Is it all about the scores coco? I mean, were all the criticism to Grant because of the scores, or the playing style, system, tactics and anything about a club management? Let me give you the performances of Fenerbahce against top clubs. Fenerbahce got 12 points from 4 matches with the 3 other championship candidates this year. (Galatasaray, Besiktas and Sivasspor) The results : Fenerbahce 1 - 0 Sivasspor Fenerbahce 2 - 1 Besiktas Fenerbahce 2 - 1 Galatasaray Sivasspor 1 - 4 Fenerbahce The results were Besiktas 1 - 2 Fenerbahce Galatasaray 0 - 1 Fenerbahce Fenerbahce 2 - 2 Trabzonspor*** Fenerbahce 2 - 2 Besiktas Fenerbahce 4 - 0 Galatasaray Trabzonspor*** 2 - 3 Fenerbahce in 2005 - 2006 and Fenerbahce 0 - 0 Besiktas Trabzonspor*** 1 - 2 Fenerbahce Fenerbahce 2 - 1 Galatasaray Besiktas 0 - 1 Fenerbahce Fenerbahce 2 - 2 Trabzonspor*** Galatasaray 1 - 2 Fenerbahçe in 2006 - 07 (*** = Trabzonspor is considered as the fourth biggest club in Turkey and is the only team to have league titles apart from Istanbul teams Fenerbahce, Besiktas and Galatasaray)

Sorry for the forum rubbish but...
It didn't overshadow your victory hence it is very difficult to win a derby after you got 1-0 down. By the way congratulations to Chelsea. Shouting for Jose, is a crisis for Grant I think and if you think from my point of view, I'm a Fenerbahce fan and any crisis in Chelsea makes me interested. We are the weaker side in this clash and something like this is a factor to increase our chance. The reason I wonder about the shouting is that.
-
Sorry for the forum rubbish but...
Yes they did shout...but it wasn't very loud. A scatter of fans. Out of curiosity, why is youtube banned in turkey? Some stupid videos about the founder of our republic, our hero Mustafa Kemal Ataturk was uploaded by some silly users and youtube didn't remove the videos. So, youtube was temporarily banned as a reaction to not-removing of those videos.
-
Sorry for the forum rubbish but...
Yes. Didn't anyone shout?
-
Sorry for the forum rubbish but...
TV programs about football mention this subject so much, here. Especially after the CL draw, TV channels started to broadcast more news about Chelsea. And shouting of the fans for Jose was the main subject after Chelsea's impressive comeback lead by Drogba on Sunday.

Sorry for the forum rubbish but...
I am looking for the video of Chelsea fans shouting for Jose Mourinho after Bacary Sagna's goal for Arsenal which made the score 0-1. But specifically, youtube is temporarily disabled in Turkiye so that I want this video from an other video site or direct link to the video (with .mpg, .avi, .asf or whatever format it is). I am sure that my friends will help me. The admin may erase this topic after the video is shared. Thank you for your interest and sorry for the temporary rubbish that I created.

I share the same ideas with you my friend and believe me the team that has more respect to the other will be one step closer to the semis. Of course during the quarter finals the game will produce different emotions. For example maybe one of our player will jump to the floor while there is no foul from one of your player and maybe the referee will show a faulty red card. Or maybe Edu will score one more own goal Whatever.. We may get angry or feel hatred but both sides of the fans love their clubs and these emotions will be derived by those incidents. I'm sure we (fans) will be as respectful as we are now, after the semi finalist is decided. Chelsea are favorites but to qualify, Chelsea should show respect to us and take some precautions. And we should show our CL spirit and all our players should do the maximum of they can do. Even though this may not be enough. If we and Chelsea meet 10 times, Chelsea eliminates in 7 or 8 of the clashes. We will try to catch that 2 or 3 clash to eliminate Chelsea. I came home very late and I'm sleepy now. We won 3-0 against Kasimpasaspor but we had difficulties. I'll write about our game tomorrow.

Absolutely agree with that. It proves that loving football doesn't only mean getting deadly drunk and talking garbage about the opposite side, but it's more about being intelligent and friendly in your passion. You can't love football by yourself, lonely. Being thoughtful and calm may help enlarging and strenghtening the football family, which is very important. Of course. Everybody supports different teams but they have one common language and that's football. Apart from being rivals, there are truths which can not be explained by just taunting. For example we can not underestimate the quality of your squad and players like Terry, Lampard, Drogba, Kalou, Essien, Cole and Cech. However I expect you to respect our star players Alex, Deivid, Carlos and the atmosphere created by our fans. We are the weaker side in this clash and we'll try to eliminate Chelsea by forcing our limits to the end, using the pressure of our fans and our Champions League spirit. I think both sides should respect each other. Today we're hosting Kasimpasa, who lies at the bottom of the table. I'm going to our stadium half an hour later and I'll post about the atmosphere and about the football our team played. Fans will probably mention something about the game which will take place at Inonu Stadium next Saturday with the leader Besiktas. That game we definitely be decisive about the championship. Today's game will be an easy one and I don't think that fans will concentrate on this game. As I said before, the following 4 games after this one will define our fates in the Super League and in Champions League. Anyway, I watched the highlights of Chelsea's game against the Spurs and to be honest, I got more hopeful. Tottenham scored nearly all goals from the corners or dead balls. If you can not solve this problem up to our games, Chelsea defence is going to have hard times containing our freekicks. Joe Cole is in his top form and RC will meet him on the wing. I am confident that RC is still as fast as Cole and cope with him but he did not play since the first game of Sevilla clash. He is expected to play against Besiktas next week but I hope he doesn't suffer from the lack of match experience during his injury. However I'm very impressed with the style of Arsenal's young guys, I support Chelsea this weekend because I want Chelsea to compete for the title up to the final game of the season. That will prevent Chelsea concentrating only to the Champions League.

I had answered a question about RC in another topic. Let me share it for you :) Roberto Carlos is of course not the player with his top form in Real Madrid but he is still very fast and quick. He still makes those runs but of course less than we got used to. In our domestic league he always tries to run upfront and support the attack but in important games, such as Sevilla, we rarely saw him running up the flank. But I think that's why the tempo of Sevilla is very high and their most important attack combination was their wings, with Dani Alves and Jesus Navas on the right wing. With those players in the oppositionj, Carlos of course ran less and instead he tried to do his defending job well. But Chelsea's tempo is slower than Sevilla and I think Carlos will make more runs than against Sevilla. When he's close to the opposition penalty area, our left winger Ugur Boral, who was the rising star of our team in the final game of our group CSKA (he scored two goals) and both Sevilla matches. (he assisted to Kezman in the first games and created dangerous attacks against Dani Alves), comes back to fill Carlos' space at the back. The free-kick taker of our team is our captain Alex de Souza. If you do not follow Fenerbahce's games, you may be underestimating him but I think he is the best free-kick taker in the world. I don't mean direct free-kicks with this statement. Juninho, Beckham, van Hooijdonk :), (Real Madrid time of) Carlos, C.Ronaldo may be better direct freekick takers than Alex but if you think to cross the ball from freekick especially near the touchline or from the wings, you can find no better man than Alex de Souza, in the world. I'm trying to follow every European league and every football game, or highlight I see on TV or on youtube and I'm saying that Alex de Souza is the best in indirect freekicks. He also uses direct freekicks, nearby the arc but always with a soft touch. Alex can only score because he sends the ball to an unreachable point, not because his shot was very fast or uncatchable. Carlos sometimes uses freekicks which are in the middle of the two touchlines and which are far away from the goal. This is because Alex can not curve the ball from middle. Alex gives such a curve that everybody in the opposite team fears and we all jump and prepare ourselves to celebrate. Alex kicks it such that even the ball doesn't touch anybody, it gets directly to the far post. I think you and players will always feel panic until you see the ball cleared by your defenders. Carlos is in form with contributing to the offence but his shots and freekicks are far from dangerous unfortunately. Everybody expected him to score a freekick goal or a goal from a long range shot but all got disappointed. Both his shot power and accuracy are away from those of his Madrid days. He scored two goals one with a header and the other with right foot. He still didn't score with his magical left foot and I think the Blues becoma the first team to experience that :) He is the oldest player of our squad and he teaches some of our players, especially Ugur Boral, and shares his experiences. Everybody in the team, and watching the game feels confident when they see that quick bald guy :) He covers lots of mistakes of our central backs with his pace and earns them time to come back. I didn't understand the last question fully but Carlos is a lively person and I don't think that he'll refuse to give a shirt. Any other questions ? :)

To get more ideas about Alex you can watch the following video. http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid ... &plindex=2 This video has been created with the plays of Alex but it DOES NOT CONTAIN his plays from this year and the previous year. The video was created to impress Dunga to call him to the Selecao but Alex wasn't selected. The last time Alex played for the Brazil national team was Copa America 2004. He was the captain of Brazil and he also completed that tournament as a top assister with 7 assists. Here is a picture of him raising the cup. Next to him is Diego Ribas of Werder Bremen and behind, Luis Fabiano of Sevilla

Semih scored the most number of goals but whoever you ask, he'll surely say Alex de Souza. After both of our captains left the club last year (Umit Ozat to Koln and Tuncay Sanli to Boro) Alex de Souza became the captain of our team and he took more and more responsibility. I think he's the best player of Fenerbahce since he joined us in 2004 - 05 season. Everybody was criticizing Alex in his early years for he runs so less than the other players. Really, Alex runs only when necessary and does very little contribution to team defence but he is always where he needs to be in offence. He always chooses the correct passes and execute them really successfully no matter how difficult it is. Another criticism on Alex was that he only played well against the mid-table teams of our league. He didn't perform well in derbies and European games but he falsified them with his performance this year. He nearly contributed to all of our goals scored in Champions League and he nearly guaranteed the top place in assist standing with 6 assists. (The nearest runner up from the remaining 8 teams is Max Tonetto from AS Roma with 3 assists) Alex was the top scorer last year with 19 goals although he played as a playmaker. Let me give you Alex's numbers. 2004-2005: 4 Friendlies‚ 5 Turkish Cup‚ 8 European Cups‚ 31 Super League (46 games) : 29 goals‚ 25 assists 2005-2006: 7 Friendlies‚ 8 Turkish Cup‚ 4 European Cups‚ 31 Super League (50 games) : 23 goals‚ 33 assists 2006-2007: 4 Friendlies‚ 3 Turkish Cup‚ 12 European Cups‚ 32 Super League (51 games) : 22 goals‚ 26 assists 2007-2008 (going on) : 3 Friendlies‚ 2 Turkish Cup‚ 10 European Cups‚ 19 Super League‚ 1 Turkish Super Cup (35 games) : 15 goals‚ 21 assists General total : 182 games 90 goals 99 assists Apart from goals or assists, Alex is a key player. Really a key player that unlocks the opposing defences who think that closing down with all 11 men was enough to play football. For example Alex did not score or assist this week against Konyaspor but he gave two crucial killer passes that left Konyaspor defenders with nothing to do rather than watch. I sometimes really think hopelessly how we can recover Alex's place when we'll (probably at the end of next year) leave. Thank God that we have a player like him and I count myself very lucky that I have the honour to watch him live at least once two weeks. The other top performing players of our squad are Deivid, Gokhan Gonul, Roberto Carlos, Ugur Boral and Semih, I think. But there is only one player that we can not recover his place and that is our captain Alex de Souza.

"That is not football. It's hockey"
I strongly agree with you. Jose's style was maybe boring but nearly guaranteed the victory when you were 1-0 up. I still can not believe how Chelsea board made such a horrible mistake to let Jose go. Is there anyone on this planet that can win the Champions League with Porto. Avram's presence will cause problems I think and Chelsea should immediately return to its character of Mourinho's time. I hope you win the game against Arsenal and take your revenge for the game at the Emirates. I hope Chelsea will carry its hopes of the title until the final game of the season and so that they have less time to concentrate on the Champions League. We are at the same situation in our league. Let's compete under similar conditions

"That is not football. It's hockey"
The character of Chelsea changed after the replacement of Jose Mourinho with Avram Grant. In Mourinho's time, Chelsea was a harder team to score against. They concedded less, had more football discipline, fought more and score critical goals that lead Chelsea to victories like 1-0 or 2-0. But now Chelsea's character became different. They started to score and concede more. With this kind of mentality Chelsea sometimes has difficulties in winning. But Mourinho's Chelsea always won when they scored because they nearly didn't concede :) Mourinho was a very big part of Chelsea's success, I think. Any coach could not get two titles with just transferring the players of his favour. Keeping them in a solid football mentality and creating a team from ultra talented individuals was a very hard job and Mourinho did this very well for the most of his time. Chelsea should win their games and wait for the top two to make mistakes but Ronaldo and United don't seem to slow down. I think taking the second place is a logical objective for Chelsea. But with 5 of the remaining 8 games at home and 6 points from Arsenal and Manchester United games will make Chelsea a strong candidate for the title. Good luck in Premiere League and play the games, especially the ones near our matches :), very hard.

it's fenerbahce
The key factor for us (Fenerbahce) to qualify is to keep a clean sheet in Sukru Saracoglu. If we can achieve this and in addition we can score, like we did in every European game since 23 November 2005, we can go to the second leg in Stamford Bridge very confidentially. The possible away goal we score there will seal our victory. But inversely, if things develop differently and Chelsea can score here, we'll have to score 3 or more I think. Because I don't think 2-1 will be enough for us to qualify. We should try to keep Chelsea with the minimum number of goals (0 if possible) here and then try to score more in Stamford Bridge, than Chelsea scored in Kadikoy.

Thank you my friend. I'm not interested in the history of Pierre van Hooijdonk but interested in what he did in Fenerbahce. Before his arrival we finished 6th in 2002 - 03 and could not even qualify for the UEFA Cup. We broke our negative record of back-to-back not winning (10 games) that year but he carried us to a championship in 2003 - 04, the most valuable I saw during my 24 years of life. Every time he says that he could not forget his memories here and one day he wants to return to Istanbul to become Fenerbahce's manager. Pierre van Hooijdonk and Alex de Souza are the two players that I'll never forget and tell my grandchildren proudly about. That's why I'm carrying his name in my nick. I want to read your comments after you watched the highlights of our game. How did you find Fenerbahce's style of play.

it's fenerbahce
We played with Konyaspor, the team with the most goals conceded, away this Sunday. The game started with a slow tempo but close to the end of the first half, we created some chances. When we fail to finish the first half ended goalless. With the second half on the way, Konyaspor found an early and a lucky goal. Former Fenerbahce player, Ceyhun, had a low drive which come back off the post but the ball hit our goalkeeper Serdar's back when returning to the pitch, and finally went back to our net. After this lucky goal, Konyaspor created a few threats again with Ceyhun's hard shots but Serdar was successful. The goal fired us up and coach Zico changed defensive midfielder Selcuk with the only real striker of our squad, Semih and this substitution paid off very soon. Deivid played one-two with Semih and got down to the corner line and he gave the ball back to Semih who easily found Konyaspor net to level at 1-1. After this goal we were hungry for more and we immediately took the lead. Champions League assist leader Alex de Souza sent a perfect through pass inside the Konyaspor penalty area which was not directed to 3 of our players offside there, but was directed to running Deivid who was NOT offside. With that fantastic pass 3 of our players were face to face with the opposition goalkeeper. Deivid nealry fell and lost the control but he was finally able to pass the ball to our hero Semih who put the ball easily to the empty Konyaspor net to put us in front with 2-1. Semih was later unfortunately injured because he did not train enough before entering the game, but don't be happy because he was in training today He is a very valuable player I think because he is the only player with the real striker style and he carried us from 1-0 down to 2-1 up. After we got the lead, Konyaspor came to our goal more often that gave us open spaces up front. In one of this positions, Alex played a superb pass with the outside of his magical left foot that set our creative right back Gokhan Gonul (absent in the first match of Chelsea clash, due to his suspension) on the wing. Gokhan crossed the ball for Kezman who was waiting inside Konyaspor penalty area and he got rid off the defender and hit a low shot that past the helpless goalkeeper. After we were two goals up, we relaxed more and found the fourth. Our recent signing Maldonado played a back heel pass to Deivid when he met the opposing press in the midfiled and Deivid played a long ball to him to set him up on the right wing. He waited until Kezman escaped from the offside position and send the ball to him just in time. Kezman didn't stop to control the ball, instead he only hit it in the narrow angle from the right to the left corner. This was our fourth goal. As a result, we were the better side in the first half but we couldn't score. In the second half, Konyaspor was hopeful with Ceyhun's early and lucky goal but that fired us up and the sleeping giant woke up We made a decisive substitution and strengthened our offence. We created good opportunities and found organizational goals. When we got the lead we played more comfortably and Konyaspor gave us more space and we got the advantage of that with our talented players. That was a deserved win for us. YOU CAN DOWNLOAD THE HIGHLIGHTS OF OUR GAME HERE : http://rapidshare.com/files/100516250/K ... s.Ozet.avi With 8 games to go, we kept our place at third position with 57 points, 1 point shy of the leader Besiktas (or 8esiktas after Liverpool smashed them 8-0 ) and 1 goal difference shy of the second placed Galatasaray (or 6alatasaray after we smashed them 6-0 ) with the same points. We're also 2 points ahead of the fourth placed surprise championship candidates Sivasspor. Turkey has never experienced a league like this, which four teams are competing very closely to be the champions. We have to continue our trip in Champions' League and pass what we've learnt this year to next year's Champions League. And in order to achieve this we'll have to finish in the top two. Or we will have to compete in next year's UEFA Cup and get it, because the final of 2009 UEFA Cup will be played at Sukru Saracoglu Stadium :) We are playing with Kasimpasaspor, the team in the bottom of the table with 19 points from 26 games this Friday in Sukru Saracoglu Stadium. Nobody expects a surprise. After this game all our fans and players will be focused on the following games that will determine our fate in our local league and in Europe. During that period. We'll play AWAY with the leader Besiktas (29 March) HOME with Chelsea (2 April) HOME with 5th placed, talented and dangerous Kayserispor (5 April) AWAY with Chelsea (8 April) Eventhough we get eliminated by Chelsea, I think we'll have achieved our goals this year in Champions' League but we must finish in the top two to continue our reign in Europe next year. Of course we want to go as far as we can and we may be eliminated before quarter finals next year but Besiktas game is also very important. God bless our team and our players. Wherever you're, whoever you're playing we're with you my dear Fenerbahce. Always fight for better and try to do the best you can. If I'm sure that the guys did their best on the pitch, the score is not important. I will clap them until my hands are red and I'll shout for you. Just show our Champions League spirit. Please do not hesitate to reply and share your opinions.
