There needs to be a performance today with end results - goals. Three points an absolute must. Just hate these early Sunday kick off times. Always a little subdued in atmosphere and performance.

Can’t see us keeping a clean sheet at the bridge I’m afraid.

On the balance of it I’m disappointed. We are desperate for a CF with speed and strength to impact games. We could/should have scored a second maybe even a third. I think Frankfurt will score at the bridge. It’s a question of can we take our chances.

We deserve a goal....really do.

Come on Chelsea! Got to make this count.

What do we do? Sit back in the second and counter or go for it? Certainly Hazard straight from the off, surely?

Game far from over but nights like this is when you look to your manager for leadership. We are better than this.

I know nowt about them but a work colleague of my has mentioned them on a number of occasions. They were his tip for the Europa League early on. Apparently they are strong. I also recall coming back from one of the knock out games hearing a few supporters saying they were really good. Who knows, guess we’ll find out. I think we’ll do better away than at home to be honest. Don’t know why just a feeling. We’ll need to be aggressive and physical in our play. Not sure I’d start Giroud. More in favour of Higuain for this one (oddly). Fancy Barkley to bag a goal and possibly even an assist.

Feels like an age since we got a result at OT. We've got it in us to get a result. Away from home this season against the teams in the top seven we've been poor, not even a point so far. Man City 0-6 Liverpool 0-2 Spurs 1-3 Arsenal 0-2 Wolves 1-2 I can't see us not conceding and we will again struggle to convert possession into goals. Maybe a draw which is a step in the right direction...

Leaving the bridge tonight, the majority of fans frustration was towards the referee. I’m not so sure. We are a strong squad and played reasonably well tonight but again predictable and repetitive in our approach. Felt we needed a slice of good fortune or an individual piece of skill to nick a winner in a must win game. With 10 minutes to go surely we could have played both Higuain and Giroud together? Just a thought. Massive opportunity missed tonight.

Very confident the boys will put in a strong performance against Burnley and pick up the points. Even fancy Higuain to get on the scoresheet.

Just clocked I forgot Watford away which we won 2-1 but even still something is clearly wrong and not down to the players.

Sad truth is away from home this season, in the PL against the top 12, we have scored two goals and conceded 21 goals. Only obtaining one point (West Ham). Still have MU and Leicester to play. Reality is, manager’s ideology is just that, an ideology only.
