Thats all learned on the training ground, everybody knows their job it becomes second nature

Well you should because he is right, that’s poor defensive coaching, defending is all about coaching, a good coach can turn bang average defenders into a solid unit. There’s no step overs or beating their man or elaborate moves, there is shape, covering and positioning all of which is done on the training ground.
