  1. You know. I didn’t believe the allegations at first. But holy sh*t 😂
  2. With James at the world cup we don't know what state he'll be in come the start of the season. I just hope to Christ we sell Gusto before then. God help us if he's in the starting XI.
  3. I sure hope we know what we're doing. That is one CB we've been heavily linked with already marked off if Spurs come back and meet the valuation.
  4. Was injured for a while I believe, and yeah Martinez has his favorites
  5. Safe to assume Alonso's appointment halted any idea of that. First thing they've done right in the 4 years they've owned the club. Mental to read out loud.
  6. Going to be very awkward if he does well at City.
  7. Eghbali needs to want Rogers too. That is essentially how we got both Enzo and Caicedo considering the directors couldn't do their job. As shown in the whole Gittens debacle last summer, the directors are terrible negotiators.
  8. You've actually touched on something I've been recommending since last summer. I think the captain should be Colwill. James leads by example, whereas Colwill is much more vocal and an organizer in defence. As you've touched on, he will always be available too (knock on wood). It doesn't really matter at the end of the day so long as one of them is captain and the other vice. The club will make Caicedo vice with Enzo gone.
  9. I'm struggling to understand these Morgan Rogers links. Even if we do get the funds to buy Rogers (after selling Enzo), what could we possibly offer over Arsenal? We can't/won't compete with them on wages and they offer far more stability.
  10. Sometimes the joke writes themselves.
  11. Sanchez, Jorgensen, and Penders are still at the club. I refuse to believe any first team esq rumors until certain players are out the door.
  12. MARCA reporting Real informed Enzo they will sign him after the World Cup.
  13. Read even like mynute things such as arriving early to training rubbed off some players the wrong way.
  14. Alonso comes across very intelligent. Managers don't have much say at Real Madrid. What we do know is that with Modric leaving, Alonso knew the midfield was going to lose a lot of control, hence why he pushed for Zubimendi and Stiller. These are the only players that were confirmed he pushed for per credible sources.
  15. I wouldn't. Alonso gets sacked (which could very well happen) we are stuck with a player who's too sh*t to be a fullback and too sh*t to be a winger. Seems to divide opinion among Juve fans too, some of which are all in the consensus he isn't good enough for a sh*t Juve team.
  16. Arsenal are significantly more stable and less risk than us and Emirates is only paying them £40m.
  17. Looking for a FOS of £33m a year per Matt Law.
  18. Always liked Kepa
  19. Just nowhere near ready for the Premier League. One long ball rattled him.
  20. Ideally Acheampong would be our 3rd or 4th choice CB in a season with no Europe. Colwill, New CB, Chalobah, Acheampong. But we all know this won't happen.
  21. 🤣 Oh yeah I can definitely see Real getting rid of the only good thing about their midfield in favor of Enzo f**king Fernandez lmao. And BlueCo will definitely match or better Valverde's current €320kpw wage. Imagine getting paid to make up complete nonsense (not a dig at you).
  22. I remember we were all discussing this last summer on how even on a data metric perspective, there was nothing positive about Garnacho. Maresca's football was also dependent on wingers being good 1 vs 1 given they are always isolated wide, and Garnacho's take on ability was among the worst in the league. Yet the directors prioritized signing Garnacho (for months) above players that could actually improve the team. They also signed Pedro Neto after failing to get Olise. Two players who are complete polar opposites ability wise. This just goes with @SydneyChelsea point that their whole data philosophy is a sham. It's a player trading pyramid scheme. This is why appointing Alonso was always going to be half the battle until we see something different.
