At least until late in the second half I didn't think we pressed very high at all. Milan had the majority of the possession yesterday and us being quite happy to sit deep when defending is what I saw. To compare it to former managers who used a back five I would say it was similar to how we played under Conte but not that similar to Tuchel.

Can't understand Sterling on the right. He isn't half as dangerous there as on the left so get him over to that side.

I'd be inclined to agree with that. But if Potter can't improve the players we currently have and deliver the results you'd have to say sacking TT was a bad decision. Because what was the point if Graham going to experience the same kind of problems that Tuchel did?

Quite surprised we haven’t seen more of a bounce so far. New manager usually brings new ideas, new energy and a certain eagerness to impress amongst the players but against RB and Palace I could only describe it as a continuation of our struggles under TT despite the late win on Saturday. Hopefully we see improvement against Milan tomorrow.
