  1. Its far worse mate. Brighton level coach have dragged us down to Brighton level.
  2. Kepa; Azpi, Chalobah, Silva, Cucurella, Chilwell, RLC, Jorginho, Mount, Sterling, Auba Todays team.
  3. Yesterday we saw Gallagher in the pivot, RLC at RWB, Sterling at LWB, Havertz at LW. If you didn't know better you'd think he's on a wind up.
  4. I would be pleasantly surprised if Sterling isn't pissed off already. Because this is tinkering on a new level. Used as a wingback against Villa and that was a disaster and too then put him at wingback again three days after, on the other side for good measure is just ridiculous.
  5. Sacking TT have made us worse, not one bit better. I'm ready to make that conclusion. Right now we look like a team anyone can have a good go at. Again today against a side that was spanked by Newcastle and Arsenal. Kepa saving us again!
  6. Out form of attack seems to be to launch it long like its 2004. Unimpressive.
  7. Broja starts the game today. So does Gallagher.
  8. That should help too. Those were baffling decisions from the coach. Up there with some of the more mindless decisions I can remember from our managers.
  9. In my opinion we shouldn't play into their game. City would never throw their biggest players on the pitch just because they face a physical side. Our best bet to win the game is to control the ball and control the tempo. We failed to do that on Saturday and barely escaped so we need to learn that lesson. Midfield was a mess v Villa so Jorginho needs to come in. That should settle us down and have Brentford run after the ball instead of running straight through our midfield with it.
  10. Certainly seems like Jorginho is quite the polarizing figure on here. Shouldn't the fact that Potter is the last in a long line of managers that rates him very highly really settle much of this debate? He's clearly a class player and Potter rates him highly and so did Tuchel amongst others.
  11. New contract offer on the table for him. https://www.standard.co.uk/sport/football/chelsea-fc-jorginho-contract-offer-pay-rise-b1033399.html
  12. Against Villa he seemingly did well on an individual basis but he was also part of a midfield two that was uncharacteristically porous and we couldn't break Villas press so not sure what to make of that performance as a whole.
  13. Care to explained why you laughed and f**ked off @dkw?
  14. Top 4 should be the absolute minimum. Our previous manager put the fear of God into the best teams in Europe with this team so if you are ready to accept us finishing outside of Top 4 in the Premiership with Potter that's mindboggling to me. Lowering standards is a dangerous game and if he can't make it we should almost certainly look for another manager.
  15. But when we were pushed back like today he essentially became a fullback. Hence why you saw him as a defender in our own box on multiple occassions. It was a baffling decision that Potter thankfully got away with.
  16. Which is what we needed mate. Someone to calm us down, keep a hold of the ball and let Villa run after it instead of us. Nothing about being a f**king fanling or whatever. I said before Jorginho came on what would happen if he did come on and exactly that happened. It's not rocket science and he's a very tidy player.
  17. I'll be honest with you. I get the feeling you've already made up your mind about Jorginho so it wouldn't be fruitful to do so. I think everyone who watched it saw that we regained much more control when he came on. I could go into the details but as I explained over I won't.
  18. Didn't say any of those things so unsure who you are arguing against here? Unless you are making up fictitious arguments on your own. As a role player he can be extremely important to us and he was today.
  19. Potter is doing pretty well but he needs to stop tinkering with Sterling. He's now been played at LWB, RWB, LW, RW, Striker by Potter and he's lost his form completely because of it. No one would perform well under those circumstances so no blaming Raheem but Potter is making a mess of it.
  20. No surprise that exactly this happened when he did come on. Took control of the game from there on out. Underrated player.
  21. To use the words of Didier. This is a f**king disgrace of a performance. Not seen anything quite like it. No control whatsoever. Don't know about you but this makes me miss Tuchel-ball with control. Take it over this any day.
  22. The answer here is to get Jorginho on so we can control the ball more. And protect a littlebit of space at least because the midfielders in this first half completely failed at it.
  23. He's now played in about six different positions under Potter. Including both wingbacks. The poor guy must be confused as hell and that's Potters fault. Sterling is our best attacker and using him like this is a complete farce. Complete shambles so today from Potter. Got everything wrong.
  24. Worst half of the season. Potter doing Sterling a disservice using him like this.
