DutchBlueSussex got a reaction from bisright1 in Should Graham Potter be sacked? (2nd poll)It’s crap again, so not sure we should just stick and trust the process. I am done with him.

Potter had that meeting so he can shed himself of responsibility. He doesn't have the ego or the ambition to be a top manager. Should have never been appointed in the first place, but it's too late now.
It's all on Boehly though, and the situation will get worse as long as he's a big part of the club. We look like a joke.

Took Ostersund to European football even beating Arsenal, built a shocking Brighton squad into a team that now challenges to European spots. If anything he's shown in his career he's exactly the man to help us rebuild, even if that's just for a couple of years until another manager comes in and takes over.

DutchBlueSussex reacted to JM7 in Graham Potter (Now Sacked ) - *Official* New (Now Old) Chelsea ManagerUpdate from Ben Jacobs:
Still told, as from the very start, there is full confidence and patience in Graham Potter at Chelsea. Potter sought assurances when he joined that there would be no knee-jerk reaction if #UCL wasn’t achieved or results took time.
Owners feel Potter is restricted by what he inherited (Tuchel also frustrated by squad), a huge period of transition, injuries and even the World Cup break, and that any new identity will take time. #CFC really don’t want to make a change, especially not during a transfer window.
The owners have a long-term vision, and the multi-club model won’t be fully functional immediately. As a result, and despite big spending so far, Potter isn’t going to have the team he wants overnight.
Clearly being mid-table and out both cups is a run that would under Roman Abramovich have got a manager sacked (and quickly). But there will likely be patience with Potter because he’s seen as not just the right manager but also a strong fit for the long-term vision.
Of course, every manager is eventually judged by results, but the plan is not to make change without giving Potter more time and resource. Behdad Eghbali has told Potter this multiple times during this difficult spell.

My anger is not at GP but the rage I have for Todd knows no bounds. He didn't have to sack TT WHEN he did. If there is anything that has threatened our stability, it is that egotistic move. Agreed they weren't maybe pulling in the same direction but TT no matter how bad things were and as one of the leagues top managers, along with how he expertly provided counsel, guidance and direction to the fans and team in our darkest moments should have been at least given the full season to see if
(I) he would come around to their way of thinking by season end
(ii) we could have gone through a thorough exploration and recruitment process to put the caliber of manager in place that befits a club of our stature. One that has a history of winning it all, being a top club in world football and wants to remain competitive and win even more things.
