Yes its true that Maresca got his team selection very wrong, but man you would assume that at least some of the bench players we spent so much money on would be able to at least put in an average performance against b** Qarabag. For me, this is also on our sporting directors. Gittens 55 million. Hato 35 million. How come we have nothing better than George and Tosin after having spent so much money?

I hope it's just that he needs time but man, this does not look good. A lot of money which should have been spent on a quality CB.

Maresca and the players have to be blamed for this but our sporting directors have a lot to answer for too. All that money spent and look what it's yielded in terms of CB and wingers. It's truly embarrassing.

After what I've just watched, I think we will be lucky to get 3 points out of those 9.

I am really sick of this being the case almost every week. -Gittens, Hato, George, Tosin... some of these players are quite simply not good enough. -Release Lavia already, find different backup for Caicedo and stop wasting space and time -This system is the problem. Every game, same story: waste an entire half passing it sideways and backwards, then rush things when you go down and trying to break teams down which we still can't do -Enzo is at best an average substitute player worth 40 mil even in this market. He is of no consequence to our play.

It's the same story every week. Complacency after we score. Even at 3-0, if you can keep attacking instead of recycling the ball aimlessly, why not give it a go? Especially given that we cannot defend.

So far I'm not impressed but we can't say he's had enough chances still. Service was really poor and without Palmer we can't seem to find that final pass. He's fumbled a few decent ones to be fair, but he's still young. Ideally he would be racking up minutes on loan...
