By far our best, possibly only, chance of winning a trophy this season so I hope we don't fanny around with excessive changes and treat the fixture seriously.

I would stick with Guiu. Drop Enzo ( note drop, not rest) and play Lavia. Start Esteviao ahead of Neto. Give Garnacho another go after getting his goal. Pedro certainly needs taken out so maybe Bounanotte ahead of him although I wouldn't be adverse to seeing Caciedo, Lavia and Santos all start.

Wolves are firmly in a relegation position, they'll want this more than us in order to salvage something from this season. We will underestimate them and be dicking around. Ours to lose with a completely skewered line-up of the headscratching kind. I'm not confident.

I’d like to see slow aimless passing between the defence, maybe passing up the sides and then immediately back to the defence when we get scared.

We need this so not too week a side. However given Enzo, caicedo and pedro are all playing with injuries leave them out:

Don't give a toss about this match or this competition. Does nothing positive for this club. We won a far bigger competition several months ago and look at the state of our morale now.

We aren’t Arsenal fans. Starving yet wanting filet mignon instead of a sandwich.

Domestic cups are our only chance of silverware this season.

No we didn't. We won a mickey mouse pre season friendly tournament that has no credibility in football and was purely a marketing ploy with money thrown at it.

The League Cup, in its different names, is 65 years old and a day out at Wembley for the final is a damn sight more attractive than some crap made up for the moment final in America played between two teams from about 3500 miles away.

Father in Law is a Wolves ST Holder. Brother in Law doesn’t want to go to this one. I’m taking one for the team, can’t currently think of two more boring teams to go and see.

Strand Larsen looks to be a proper player and it’ll be an honour to see Stevie in the flesh.

Reality will be a defensive disaster class from both teams I feel.

The quality of teams in the tournament and the effort and line ups being played in every game was too a far higher standard than you'll ever see in the League Cup.

It was largely played at 60% effort by most players. PSG at 60% is pretty much St Mirren on a wet Wednesday in Paisley.

That gold badge on our shirt is about as embarrassing as Spurs releasing a DVD of their 25 best corner kicks.

Wolves are sh*t. So, as expected, we are going to out-sh*t them.

Jose and JT always say the League cup win was the most important trophy of his time at Chelsea, it instilled a "we can win" attitude into the squad, gave them impetus in the league run in to our first title. Its much more important to the players than the daft pre-season bo**ocks.

I assume he'll make around 19 changes to the team (no, wrong term) line-up that started the last match to continue ensuring we never build anything remotely resembling a coherent team.

Then we'll huff and puff and stumble past a relegation favourites second string. Can't wait!!

Totally agree Loz. And if we did somehow manage to beat the odds and go all the way with Marescaball, we could have a big "League Cup Winners 2025" badge printed and sewn on to the right shoulder of our kit.
