Another week, another absolute stinker by Neto. He really just is a waste.

I really like Santos, we look so much better when he starts.

To be honest I don’t blame Rosenior for this. We lost this tie in the 1st leg. -Despite having improved lately, our GK makes too many direct mistakes leading to goals -Half of our CBs and all of our wingers bar one are clearly subpar -Without a fit Palmer and non-jetlagged Estevao we are severely lacking in creativity and that little bit of magic that could have potentially seen us through.

I like what he's doing, it's still early days obviously but we look much more direct.

Incredible result, credit to the players. We struggled but in general I though we were not too bad considering all the players we were missing. Yes, City should have scored more in the first half but hey, you take it and run.

He's been poor lately but I can't criticise him. For a long time he was the only player who always have his all and performed well bar maybe Cucu and James. I don't think it's fair to hold him up to such high standards just because he's been so insanely consistent that he' s got us used to this. He has more credit in the bank than anyone else.

I think it's time to sack him now- it's not just the results but the performances, the poor substitutions and game management, the fact that he hasn't improved the players and our involution in defence. On top of all that, he seems to relish the chance to rile up the fans by always almost making the decisions which he absolutely knows will not go down well with matchgoers. That's risky and it needs to pay off if you do it. It's not all on him, I think the main culprit here is Winstanley and whoever decided that all that money should be spent on players like Disasi, Mudryk, Badiashile, Gittens, Garnacho, Neto, etc, etc. they are quite simply not good enough. Sacking him is the right decision but far from the only one.

I feel for George but yes he needs to go, not good enough. Gittens was a waste of money. Buonanotte did end up getting the assist but he looks like a waste of a loan. Hato needs to improve because this is simply not the level. Tosin… would rather not speak.

Does Maresca actually enjoy this style?

There were spells in the beginning of the second half in which we played well I thought, but Everton were dismal and the moment they decided to play they just showed that they can't finish, if they had a proper striker this could have ended badly for us. Fofana is our best CB on form and I hope he stays fit. Chalobah looks like a different player when he partners him instead of Tosin. Enzo and Joao Pedro look exhausted and they just can't seem to do anything right. They need the bench. We need that too. Garnacho is extremely lucky we won this game. He is going to cost us in the future. Gittens just looks too raw. We could have saved ourselves the combined 80 mil and promote an academy winger.
