Random Rumours
serious CB van Hecke is. Would be a dream target for me. Him or Nathan Collins. Newcastle are more heavily linked, would be an incredible get for them. Sven Botman is a crook and can't stay fit. Schar has been a tremendous foot soldier for them but is starting to show age. Also not sure Hecke and JPedro are on the best terms. Pedro got suspended before the season was up at Brighton for choking JPVH similar to what Luis Enrique did (when is that thug manager getting suspended?). For 40 million though, I hope we swoop in. Genius CB, elite ball player and fantastic positionally. Would take us up a level.

Welcome Lesley Ugochukwu
Wonder what happens with this bloke. I like the concept of Essugo in due time, but he's nowhere near the level of Ugochukwu as of today, and shouldn't be apart of the squad ahead of Ugochukwu. Actually I believe Essugo needs to play a lot more football and could do with a loan himself. On a pure attribute by attribute basis as well I'd prefer Ugochuwku. He's also a profile that we're lacking. Extremely tall midfielder who's comfortable in all phases of possession. Super athlete that can carry the ball across large space and very technical. Sad the way it's played out so far with him. Never really given a chance.

Marc Guiu
Yea the worry is that he gets Andrey Santos'd at Forest and doesn't play. I'm assuming Guiu himself probably would have rejected a move to the Championship, considering he's played senior minutes at Barcelona. The Championship is the best route for youngsters to cut their teeth considering how much football you play, but it might be looked down upon by foreign youngsters. There's some competition for that #9 spot and I'm not sure how Le Bris sets up tactically. Both Isidor and Mayenda scored some goals for them last season.

Ishé Samuels-Smith
City and Girona have played UCL simultaneously as have the Red Bull clubs. The only reason why Palace got f**ked is because Textor never transferred his shares because he never expected them to be playing Europe or a conflicting competition with Lyon. and then they won the FA cup.
-
Marc Guiu
I really like Guiu. I think he has the makings of a serious #9 in a couple of years. Probably a candidate to get Hutchinson'd (flipped after a successful loan spell). Him and Delap share a lot of the same traits. Guiu has more pressing venom (literal dog to a bone), Delap is a better ball striker, Guiu has better link-up and movement, Delap is more of a c**t. Go & smash it son.

Trevoh Chalobah
I open twitter and the first thing I see is Jehovah and Gallagher playing their own sport, as per. Had to go and find my favourite "Trev" clip ever We couldn't win non-Spurs B6 clashes in years because of clowns like this trying to head a ball at shin height. Does not deserve to play at my club or represent the badge. Any credit or goodwill you've feel he's earned in in the past year go straight to Maresca.

Trevoh Chalobah
I still can't get over Chalobah = Saliba. Is this a majority consensus on this forum? Or am I talking to a fangirl. Saliba: FIFA Mens XI, 2X PFA TOTY, L1 YPOTY, L1 TOTS Chalobah: ...multiple instagram posts farming sympathy, drank three goals to Senegal as England lost to an African team for the first time in centuries, what else? Surely if Madrid can't get Saliba like they desperately want, or Konate they'll come in for "Trev" right? I mean the last time his carcass was put up in the market he only attracted interest from a Forest side battling relegation, but this time will be different.

Alejandro Garnacho
Gone UP from 70% as first report. Stop reacting to fear mongering by the click-baitey ITKs in this fanbase. Porn addict Pattialtmann or whatever his name is and the emotional obese teenager CFCPys are elite at getting this fanbase in hysterics with their influential twitter accounts. I'd reckon Simons is more or less done actually, just sorting out sales in the process before the transfer is finalised. The main thing that gives me confidence about Simons is the fact that Ali Barat is the one leveraging the transfer, which means it's not just media fluff. He brokered the Lukaku to Napoli deal, the Caicedo transfer with Brighton, The Madueke to Arsenal sale

Trevoh Chalobah
Oh yea this is what we call delusion. Or just a rampant lack of football knowledge. I'll remember this account, "The Boehly Babes", and I really hope you post your reactive thoughts in visceral detail for my viewing pleasure when "Trev" gets forced out of the club. Winstanley and co. do not rate this bum (as don't I) and he will be getting shipped out whether you like it or not. Sure to be one of the best days of my life besides when that shinkicker Declan Rice was revoked from my academy & the Mount and especially Gallagher sales. Talent deficient footballers with disillusioned fans that turned toxic against anyone willing to speak up truthfully against them.

Trevoh Chalobah
The issue with forums adopting a reddit style like/dislike function is that it's turned online interactions into a space for the lowest losers to get sh*tty jokes off to impress their internet friends. I've been on hundreds of forums since the genesis of the internet so it's really nothing new, but it's always amusing to witness the power dynamic of people that have been posting in a space for years and how they treat others that are new to the space. It's like Mean Girls cross blended with the animal kingdom. There's some sort of psychological thing that goes on where to makes those above you like you / bond nearer they attack what they subconsciously perceive to be the the most vulnerable in vicinity.

Trevoh Chalobah
For me or for Fofana. Is he crippled again? Has he ever stopped being crippled since we signed him? One of the worst transfers in EPL history. The guy is constantly in the news causing drama and is never actually fit. The few times he is fit he's a disaster on the pitch. The comparison for that RCB is Chalobah so I guess it makes sense why people in this fanbase view Wesley Fofana as some sort of authoritative RCB presence but he's another trash can that sucks on the ball and has shaky decision making. He runs a bit faster and not in molasses like Chalobah so that gives him the slight edge. People that still pencil Fofana in future lineups make me laugh. Ignoring the fact that he's garbage. His leg is quite literally being held together by paper mache. It's like being a gore fanatic that enjoys watching shock videos on the darkest corners of the interwebs. I'm sick of watching this guy brutalise himself on the pitch after a run of five games and have to get stretchered off into a memory for the next six months. Clearlake need to hire Mudryk's trainer to give him that horse tranquilizer so he can go share a cell with him and have his contract burned up.

Steve Parish quite literally nearly took us to court over the Michael Olise release clause, which is why we voluntarily backed off. Are you new to the sport? It's either that or the Greek mafia getting involved like with Marinakis.

Enzo Maresca - Chelsea "Head Coach" *Official NOW SACKED*
Mou quite literally birthed terror ball in the Prem and used every sort of tactic at his disposal to gain an advantage and waste time. He also won everything domestically multiple times over and still called out the soulless match going fans for creating absolutely no atmosphere inside SB. You're straight up lying if you're going to pretend like he was playing some liquid football that had the fans roaring. The quotes are there for all to see. The same geriatric fans that turned on Maresca from match week one and feel like it's some sort in that denotes you a true fan for wanting everyone and everything out. It's a cacophony of contradictions from drones that are stuck in the matrix. You don't actually want to win or understand what it takes to win consistently.

Alejandro Garnacho
I've already coped enough into accepting the Garnacho transfer that very obviously will be happening. Fabrizio is our most in tune ITK and he's been keeping this link alive single handedly for months. Even after Gittens, has persisted. Even through the Xavi Simons emergence, continued reiterating that it's a seperate 'idea' to Garnacho. He's coming. Signing Garnacho falls under the same bracket as why I could understand Arsenal and their data team being interested in taking a punt on Madueke. Swinging on wingers that generates a lot of box touches, high amounts of non-pen xG and are volume shooters. In theory this is how you scout the next Salah. Garnacho is two years younger though so there are more excuses for his wild inconsistency. I won't pretend to have watched him as closely as I have Madueke so I'm not sure if his issues are as fundamentally damning. Madueke's first touch is abysmal, he doesn't look up when he plays and has no control over his body. Constantly falling over when trying to get a shot off etc. I think the good thing is that Garnacho is young enough that we should be able to recoup money for him if he doesn't do well. It's been said that Maresca wants nine attackers heading into next season João Pedro, Liam Delap, Jamie Gittens, Alejandro Garnacho, Pedro Neto, Estêvão, Cole Palmer, Xavi Simons. That's eight. Enzo Fernández makes #9? Been playing higher up, I doubt Maresca will ever truly play him DLP. Pivot options are stacked anyways with Caicedo, Lavia, Santos, Essugo (should be Lesley) + the option of inverting or straight up playing James, Gusto, Hato, Cucurella centrally.

Xavi Simons
Yea and he's an incredibly determined individual. Was the OG wonderkid and actually succeeded. Was adored by Neymar at PSG, was a humble kid at PSV too and would clean the boots of his seniors while being one of the very best players in that league. Speaks five languages. Simons had the chance to go to Bayern last summer and rejected the move to prioritise his own development. He's a mentality monster, extremely skilled and dedicated to his craft. Would be one of the best signings we've made in a long time even dating back pre-Clearlake.
-
Xavi Simons
It's the laziest comparison ever. Just like people saying Joao Pedro = Nkunku, or don't buy Joao Pedro because he comes from Brighton. Simons' workrate is incredible. Deceptively strong, low COG (rides challenges), elite progressive attacker via the pass or the carry, feisty, willing to engage in duels, smart counter-presser, intense OOP. Simons is also a right footed pocket player which would balance nicely with the left footed Cole Palmer in the opposite half-space and Simons is a habitual xG cheater, which we've been crying out for. The only player appearing twice (pass threat and dribbling threat), apart from Cherki, is Xavi Simons. This is a potential marquee signing.

Xavi Simons
Most excited I've been for a signing since Michael Olise (both 2023 & 2024) and Moises Caicedo (2023).

Trevoh Chalobah
The 60 million value was plucked from the Athletic article that I'll try to find, but isn't this generally saying the same thing? Chelsea need to reach a specific surplus in positive transfer balance regarding players that have been submitted on the UEFA A list. This is why Petrovic and Renato Veiga eventually getting sold for huge returns makes our healthy PSR standing even healthier, but does not address our current standing issue with UEFA.

Is Broja even PL standard?

Trevoh Chalobah
This is a completely fair take and why I agree with the club for focusing on rebuilding the attack. I actually do think we can survive with Trev/Tosin partnering Colwill for the entire season, I'm just thinking about long-term and also Acheampong. I feel like for the sake of his progression he needs to play here, or go on loan. I'm worried though because I feel like he's good enough to stay and play in rotation, like Hato will but there's just absolutely no pathway. Anselmino and Sarr got/will get loaned. Would be nice to clear out a bit more clutter. Disasi has to leave. Fofana has to leave. Pick one of Tosin or Chalobah and they should leave. That's Colwill/Badiashile LCB (already confirmed BB is staying) + Tosin/Acheampong and then Reece/Gusto and Cucurella/Hato. Fine by me.
-
Trevoh Chalobah
Outside of Colwill they're all replaceable, so act like it. Fofana is another liability that should be forced out of the club regardless. Sell him to Le Havre for 1 million and if they won't bite, rip his contract up on livestream.

Jorrel Hato *Official*
Still unsure of what to make of the player from pure clip watching, but I trust the word of the fans of the club more than anything and A**x fans are gutted to be losing Hato. Captained them from the age of 17 and seems to have a nice blend of skills. Seems like a player that can be used in a variety of different ways, has a solid physical and technical floor and a lot of potential. Hope he does well.

Enzo Maresca - Chelsea "Head Coach" *Official NOW SACKED*
OH NOES, the youngest squad in PL history hit a rough patch in the middle of the season and showed immense guille and character to secure top four with our second highest points total in the past six seasons even with stiffs like Jackson, Madueke, Sancho and Nkunku up top providing nothing. Let's ignore that it was literally phase one for a brand new and young manager at this level who achieved top two on the form table in the first 15 and final 15 matches of the season and delivered silverware that united the squad together and established a core in place that would die on that pitch for the club. Let's instead shake our ass for the ever giving BBQ man that had zero tactics, created less, gave up far more and embarrassed himself and the club in the media time and time again. If you don't appreciate Maresca, it's something you're going to have to cope with or get left behind because he won't be going anywhere for the foreseeable future. This is a prodigious young manager and the perfect appointment for this project.

Trevoh Chalobah
Why SHOULD he be apart of our squad if we can upgrade and where is the pathway for what looks like a special defensive talent in Acheampong if we're pumping heavy minutes into a middling centre back? As it currently stands our PSR is great, but we're struggling to comply with UEFA's registration rules, which is why we ate that fine. Some of the sales and the money we earned from triumph at the CWC is great, but it still dances around the issue. Chelsea need to bank ~60 million in book value profit from the names on that A list to be able to comply for next year's competition. This is another reason why Madueke was shipped out so quickly, besides him being an average at best winger. Some was returned on Amougou to Strasbourg, and a lot of those other names either won't draw enough interest or are unsellable from our own perspective. This is why I believe Jackson, KDH and Nkunku will be shipped out, I'm not sure if they'll bring back enough profit. Fingers crossed though. Clearest pathway to being back in the clear would be selling high on Chalobah (£40 million), or shipping out Tosin. Either of which classify as as pure profit. I think they're similar levels, slight edge to Tosin, but both squad players at a top club. Tosin just happens to be the face of the entire project's best friend, so it'd be in best interest to ship Trevoh off instead to a club more suitable for his level. If he truly loves the club he'll comply with our best interests in mind.
