Lampard was just a big diva during this whole ordeal. He publicly complained about playing time when he should have acted like a mature leader for this team. He always looked like a kid that wasn't getting his way. I am extremely upset with the way he handled himself.

I disagree. What manager is going to have the balls to tell our diva legends to sit on the bench. What manager is going to come in and change this club for the better. I would be willing to bet that the next manager comes in and gives Lampard a new contract and keeps our 33 year old players in the starting lineup for a couple more years, hindering the progress of our youngsters even more and setting the club back even further.

Lampard will never lose his legend status but he was an arrogant diva in this situation. My feelings have soured a little bit this year on him. He has put himself before the club.

I am just so sick of this revolving door thing with our managers. This constant manager changing makes us seem like a laughing stock. Why can't we get a manager and stick with him. Does Roman realize that the results that he looks for are impossible? Yeah we can dominate the league one year, maybe a couple, but there are going to be down times and we shouldn't be pulling the trigger on our manager all the time.

This firing will set the club back even more. The new manager will probably cave and give new contracts to the old "spoilled" players on this team. Lampard should be f**king ashamed of himself along with anybody else who threw AVB under the bus. I truely believe that if we could have gotten to the summer AVB would have brought in players that would help this team. But no, the brat Lampard and his aging brothers have put themselves before the club. I am really disappointed in our so called "legend" players. The results were awful and AVB should get part of the blame, but the players should get more of it. They really handled this wrong.

Ace, Did you catch any of the U23 game vs Mexico? We dominated. 2-0. Goals from Agudelo and Mix. Mix's goal was a deflection off of a nice shot from Adu. The U23 team looks good with those players along with Hamid in goal and Bunbury with Agudelo up front.

We need the team to buy in and if there are players that don't, then they need to go or sit the bench. Our future captain, Luiz, tells it how it should be. Lampard needs to stop throwing AVB under the bus and obey. He needs to stop complaining about every little thing and play. If he doesn't buy into the system then he can sit. The difference in opinion is hurting the team. I love lamps but he isn't above the team.
