Yeah it’s a joke. Like Jenas and Shearer said on MOTD just now, if it wasn’t for the fact it happened in the first 6 seconds of the game it would have been a straight red all day. Ridiculous that this sort of thing can happen, especially as the ref has a clear view of it but the desire not to ruin the game as a spectacle means we get f**ked over.

I’ve got to say though, I’m finding it challenging. I’m in the first palace trying to steal Komoshida’s heart and finding it tough- some of the shadows regularly wipe out my team quite quickly if I’m not clever. I’ve had to lower the difficult to easy in some cases. Regardless, I’m having a blast, like you said it’s just so polished. I’m finding the story quite engrossing so far (and a bit dark and twisted? Shades of abuse and dare I say it, rape?) but I have no idea where it’s heading though! I need to fuse more Personas and make better use of my time after I’ve done this palace like you said- exploring the neighbourhood and building relationships with the confidants.

Started Persona 5 today as it was free on PS+. And I think I love it?! Where has this been all my life. I usually hate turn-based games (apart from Pokemon) but took the plunge with this one and am addicted. Played 5 hours today.
