Apart from the all-seater stadiums (which anyway is an important part of the death of real support in England) to me the situation is simple enough: the more a club gets trophies, pops up on the telly, papers and internet, the worse its support become. I've spent 51 quid (+ 77 euros for the flight) for a ticket in the east stand upper (the only one I've found on the internet) two weeks ago for the B'Burn game. I've never been there before and I was quite shocked. All these japanese/chinese who doesn't even know what an off-side is taking pics every 1.3 seconds like they were in London Zoo. I'll never go to another stand which isn't MHL. Obviously ticket prices are mental, I visit my parents in London twice a year and I make sure it's in the weekend of a FA/League cup match, with its lower prices and better atmosphere.

I signed up to this forum in february but I forgot to introduce myself. Evening everyone, I'm Joe from Rimini, Italy. As an italian-english crossbreed (my mum is from WC2 London) I always supported Chelsea Football Club from here, thanks to my uncle too that brought me to my first Stamford Bridge game in spring '00 in a 2-0 Di Matteo - Weah v Liverpool. In my hometown Rimini with a dozen of supportin mates (I was the only english/CFC fan there obviously) in the same gaff where I've watched Napoli 2nd leg, Benfica 2nd leg and Barcelona 1st and 2nd. Won't have changed it for the world... At the DD header 4 or 5 pints from the tables nearby smashed on the floor, let alone the last penno. Best day of my life, I still can't believe it
