Anyone in the East Upper have any clue about what caused the aggro in the Tottenham end? I glanced over just as we won the penalty and they were toe to toe with the stewards. Didn't fully calm down until the final whistle!

It's how wide you want to cast your net. I loved winning the European Cup partly because of all the neighsayers doubting us. We were against Bayern, in their city, in their stadium, with everyone and their dog wearing Bayern shirts (I actually did see two dogs wearing Bayern shirts). I can't think of a better example of Chels against the world. And then you get to hold you head high with a wry smile on your face and all the Spuds fans can't hold your gaze. Whereas if England won the Euros or the World Cup, every c**t would come out of the woodwork and claim about how they've always believed in England. Also, Adrian Chiles would be happy. and I couldn't abide that.

To be fair to the lad, he needs to play, and he just hasn't. I had a proper moan when he got taken off last home game against Blackburn, because he looked massively dangerous, even if he was born offside. Wasn't he going to go on loan to Stoke? He'd make a good target man for them. The quote is "during the conversation with the manager I will see whether he's serious about me or not. If not, I will go away on loan". Suppose it's good that a move away from the club permanently doesn't even cross his mind.

Ello lads, I've been on a few football forums before, but the whirlwind events of the last few days have meant that I'm craving a Chelsea specific forum! I'm Tom, from around Gatwick, now a student in South Yorkshire. Still get down to the odd game with the old man every now and then, was lucky enough to get to both the Napoli home leg and Barcelona home leg this year, yet more awe inspiring European nights to remember from this team.. Up there with Arsenal 2004 and the 4-2 against Barca maybe? Sit in the Shed Upper, there's still a season ticket in my name that gets passed about. Is anyone going to the FA Cup final?
