I still watch highlights of Munich, Barcelona and Napoli to this day. Incredible road we have gone down to win this cup. I get chills hearing Martin Tyler shout "DROGBAAAAAAAA" with Neville shortly bursting out with "OOOOOOOOOHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" Sends shivers down my spine.

Formation: 4231 ---------------------Torres ----Mata-----------Hazard-------------Marin -----------Lampard-----Ramires -Cole-------Cahill--------Terry-----Ivanovic ------------------Cech (Mata, Hazard and Marin swapping positions throughout the game.) GK: Cech (Superb in the UCL. Went the right way for all 6 PK's in the Final.) RB: Ivanovic (Versatile, can go into central defence if needed. Can supply huge throw ins from the wing. Scored a vital goal against Napoli.) CB: Terry (Captain, all round great defender and leader. Can't leave him out of starting XI.) CB: Cahill (Very solid defender, English chemistry with Terry at the back.) LB: Cole (Best LB in the world in my opinion at the moment. Wouldn't have won the UCL without his defensive heroics.) LCM: Lampard (Still one of the best midfielders in the world and arguably best penalty kick taker currently I think, with penalties all scored against Napoli, Benfica and most importantly that shoot-out in the final.) RCM: Ramires (Player of the season for me. Very good on the ball, dribbling is fantastic and performance over two legs against Barca I'll never forget. Tremendous goal and superb assist for Drogba in first leg.) LM: Juan Mata (Quick feet, good pace and ball control. Such an important aspect of our team last season. Delivers good corners and also a good finisher.) CAM: Hazard (Huge signing and I hope to see great things from him. Good game against Seattle with a goal.) RM: Marin (Like Hazard, good game against Seattle. Not afraid to run at players and shoot.) ST: Torres (Still have high hopes for this player. Had a bright end to the season and a great tournament with Spain winning the Golden Boot with 3 goals and an assist.)

I'm torn between Luiz, Lampard and Cole's. As calm, non-chalant and hugely important as Drogba's penalty was. Luiz, Lamps and Cole all scored stunning Penalties. With Luiz using power and accuracy far out of Neuer's reach, to Lampard smashing it right down the middle and with Cole placing it superbly into the side netting. I'm probably going to go with Lampard's.

I've been a supporting Chelsea when I got given my first Chelsea shirt for my 7th birthday. (The yellow away Coors shirt from 1996/7) I can't believe it's taken me so long to join a Chelsea forum. Looking forward to getting to know everyone, sharing past experiences of Chelsea triumphs and hopefully lots more to come in the future!
