Good test. Vicente would not have been given so much room in a competitive match and I am not sure how Buckley's run for Brighton's second goal could have been stopped at any level? Need a better player than Terry to stop that! Still, breaking down the Southampton, Reading and West Ham's defence will be a bit of a problem. Third goal was a joke. After Brighton made their substitutions they hardly got a glimpse of the ball; albeit 2-1 up then. One goal is not enough. Narrowness gave Chelsea the edge in midfield and Brighton had Kazenga Lualua out injured so he could not run at our full backs.
