loz
This week there are still only 5 questions but there are 20 points to be won - this to make up for last week's train puzzle book standard quiz. 1. The famous Chelsea weather vane, considered a good luck charm, was first placed on top of the East Stand, then moved to the West Stand before returning to its rightful place on the East Stand. Who is the player depicted on it? (2 points) 2. Four ex players have won gold medals at the Olympic games –a point for each. (4 points) 3. Other than football Stamford Bridge has been used to house a further six sports on something more than a one off basic – a point for each sport. (To be clear I am not including anything which was a once or twice exhibition event – these are sports which were held at the Bridge on at least 9 or 10 occasions) (6 points) 4. Which of our current team made his professional first team debut as a striker in the same game that Jermaine Pennant made his debut (2 points). 5. Five Chelsea players have appeared in the PFA Divisional Team of the Year on at least two occasions. A point for each one you can name and for a bonus point which of those two have appeared in it three times (6 points) REMEMBER TO PM ME YOUR ANSWERS, DO NOT POST THEM HERE

loz
Emptied it Chelsea Lad. By the way there are actually 5 ex players who have won gold at the Olympics so I am looking for 4 of the 5.
loz
A little clarification for question 5 - I am referring to players ho got in the select team whilst they were Chelsea players (therefore Sidwell for Reading or Cole for Arsenal don't count)
moi
A little clarification for question 5 - I am referring to players ho got in the select team whilst they were Chelsea players (therefore Sidwell for Reading or Cole for Arsenal don't count) My God, Loz! Are you psychic? I opened up this thread specifically to ask for "a little clarification" (the very words I planned to use!) on this very question, and Cole for Arsenal was the one I had in mind. Have you thought of holding séances? I believe it can be quite lucrative!

loz
Little reminder for people. Quiz results and a new quiz will probably be posted tomorrow. Good response to number 16 however out of the people who have been submitting recently I have had nothing yet from backbiter, Mad Mac, G4, dkw, Chelsea Lad, Plokoon13, Westway Wonder, and blueday3. May as well warn you now that there may be some controversy about the answer to Q5 - different sources appear to have different info!
