I think what I like most about English football is the fans. The fans are wonderful. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/...nt-Platini.html I always knew he loved us.
May 10, 200916 yr I love English fooitball, 'Manchester United, Arsenal, Liverpool, Everton, Aston Villa, Fulham, Tottenham, Stoke, Hull, Middlesborough, Sunderland, West Ham, Manchester City, Wigan, Bolton, Blackburn, Portsmouth, West Brom are all great clubs.' 'Oh yeah and Ch...Ch....whats the last one? Charlton! I love Charlton.'
May 10, 200916 yr Platini strikes me as a sports writer who one day finds himself running European football. You know exactly where his loyalties lie, but he still tries to hide it by vague references to things like "the good of the game". So im not too bothered that a man widely regarded as a biased half wit didnt bother to mention us. Does he not realize the game has changed, irrevocably, and that money, rich owners, and marketing are now intgral parts? Because if he believes he can eradicate or change those things, he is living in a dreamworld. Everything he says seems to be a thinly veiled jab at the english game. So even if he isnt bitter, biased or whatever else, he has absolutely no tact. I really dont know what point there is to him in his current position. The only silver lining to Man Utd winning in Rome will be Platini handing the trophy over while probably grinding his teeth to a fine powder
