First we have Galliani saying a 'monster' offer has been received by an English club for Pato and now we have Laporta claiming Man City have made a 'monster' offer for Eto'o. I put it to the jury that Eric 'Monster' Hall of Dennis Wise agent fame is moonlighting on the quiet!

The hyperbolic language is a little funny, but its all the same clubs (i.e. the ones with officials who think themselves superstars) using it.

It looks as if City' STRATOSPHERIC bid for Eto'o is doomed to failure. Credit to the little scumbag if he manages to turn down 250k a week, but that will hurt Barca to lose him for nothing
