Anyone play for any sunday league sides or pub teams?

I'm 16 and in my first season in the mens league. Mostly centre mid. Quite easy when your the only one on the pitch not hungover!

Found something that pretty much explains it: http://uk.answers.yahoo.com/question/index...01063037AAjeUFQ Quite a funny read.

Sorry if there is already a thread on this, I did a search but couldnt find anything.

I did for over 20 years.

Wyvern FC. The Mutual Friend FC. New Found Out FC. Longship Vikings FC. The Royal Oak FC. Man In The Moon FC. The Elizabethan FC. Kodak FC. Lilley Rangers FC. Timebridge FC.

More clubs than Arnold Palmer.

played for at least half the teams in the town i live in over the past 20 years or so either at centre half or centre mid mostly. even had a trial for our local semi pro team Workington Reds many many years ago. admittedly it was when they were god awful and struggling for players, but hey its my only claim to fame so im having it....

Ah the joy of Sunday football...I currently play in two amateur leagues. I play at my University, in a pretty decent league )considering that it's open to everyone to join, and the signup fees are pretty low) we are on the verge of making the post-season, but we are level with two other teams for fourth. And I play for a team started with a bunch of people from work, and some of them never kicked a ball before, the only problem is we joined a league way out of our level of play. The goal difference is weekly somewhere around -4, but hey it's for the love of the game, and to keep the belly down :P Out of 8 games, we only have two wins, and one is to a team that named themselves LFC :) (I got two goals I might add hehehe)
