Just wondering why our away form is crap this season at home no problem we look good solid and like champions but away we don't look like the same team,same players? so why?is it that we play more open football or the players can.t be arsed or is it Ancelotti faults, normally we score first we would win.The premiership there waiting for one team to take control both Chelsea and Man u are pissing about my fear is Arsenal will win it. :)

A lot of theories on this mainly age or pace related but I'd throw into the mix an obvious one..most teams are better at home!

stating the obvious but look at all the contenders and they have all struggled against teams nobody gave a chance at different times and once it starts going right for the home team and the fans get behind them they have something to prove and sometimes the extra effort they put in pays off.

look at the likes of Birmingham at home this season..Burnley last season even sunderland on occasion, its not just our inability to travel.

I think its purely because home teams are more willing to counter attack and pull up numbers for freekicks @ home.

At the Bridge these teams just park the bus, at home they park the bus but will commit forward more on the counte and since we use our FBs so aggressively vs weaker teams, it really does leave us exposed with 1v1 or 2v2s and our CBs are not the fleetest of foot.

As well, I think they commit more at set pieces, but thats just my guess I really dont have anything to validate that opinion

I think about 75% of our GA have been from set pieces.

However, again I havent looked into it, but Im willing to wager a large part of it is that we simpley arent scoring enough away from home!

Im curious, if anyone knows off the top of their head, is their a consistent difference with the squads fielded home vs away?

Lets be honest here , J.T. , Ricky, Alex, etc etc , experienced players who can be outjumped in their own 6 yard box and not attack a ball ?? Christ surely has to raise issues at training . And its not just a problem that has creeped up on us , its been there since Stoke away . Jesus you can maybe say , yeah ok if it happens in 1 out of 5 , but Villa away, Hull, Everton home, Everton away , Man yoo , this is an issue that hasnt been resolved and its mid Feb for gods sake, and im f***ing worried it will cost us .

Perhaps we need to park the bus away from home....we might get a point at least
