Sylvain Marveaux

Quest France have reported that Chelsea have made a move for exciting French star Sylvain Marveaux. The 23-year-old attacking midfielder was a stand-out performer for Rennes last season contributing 10 goals and 7 assists. This impressive form has resulted in glowing references from French-based scout Guy Hillon, who has now recommended the player to Chelsea boss Carlo Ancelotti.

Apparently Marveaux is set to travel to London some time next week to meet with club officials and discuss personal terms.

Any one heard of this fella? sounds like were interested.

I've heard of the scout, but not the player haha

He seems to me to be very similar to Malouda but obviously younger.

Seem like a player like Malouda, but from the right side. I think it would be a great addtion. He could probably replace Joe Cole and help out in the midlfield.

i've watched him all along this season and he is quite good but have to confirm.

Don't think it's the real time to buy it but he has a great potential.

He has to show us that this season was not a lucky season and that he can do better or the same next year.

He's also left footed. Do we really need three left footed wide men in the team when our right side is sh*t?
