Anyone listened to this tosh coming from 'Arry's mouth? Redknapp has asked the FA to move City's league game with Stoke. If City beat Stoke in the FA Cup Final then that will mean City getting 4th in the league will effectively mean that Stoke qualify for Europa League as Birmingham already have the penultimate Europa League spot. 'Arry is suggesting that Stoke will throw the league game meaning his Spuds don't qualify for Champions League.

1. 'Arry should be concentrating on his own team, if his team are good enough over 38 games then so be it, he shouldn't be relying on City to slip up or for favours.

2. 'How many times have we seen the Spuds throw their games against United in the past to try and stop us and Arsenal winning the league? Highly hypocritical there

3. Anyone that has seen Stoke play and Pulis's management style knows that Stoke's attitude is class and they will not go there and roll out the red carpet for City.

4. Has 'Arry even bothered to check to see who his own team are playing the day after the final? You guessed it, Liverpool, who themselves would need need Spurs to get 4th so they qualify for the Europa League. Should that game get moved then?

What's annoying is that I bet the FA will bend over backwards to help the media darlings out and keep 'Arry sound, they won't want to upset him in their quest to make him England manager.

If that's the case then why don't we ask for Wigan v United (07/08) to be replayed or Liverpool v Chelsea (09/10) to be replayed? We could argue that because Wigan's chairman was a self professed United fan who spoke out about wanting United to win prior to the match, we may also have a claim. United fans could claim Liverpool did the same thing for similar reasons.

I actually think 'Arry should be fined and banned for questioning the integrity of the League and tarnishing the good name of Stoke City Football Club, won't hold by breath though!

He's a columnist in The Sun so obviously culminated a few media cronies there over the years, Spuds always have been media darlings since the 60s anyway.

I can almost garauntee that game will get moved. 'Arry is only behind Fergie when it comes to having the FA in his pocket but given that the new chairman is now a City fan hopefully he'll be told to do one.

What will moving the game accomplish? The game will be worth 3 points no matter when its played.

Does he really think City will be throwing away their first chance to win a trophy in decades and take down that Man U banner when they are in a strong position to win the FA and qualify for the CL too?

Does he really think that a team 5 points away from relegation is going to freely give away 3 points in the last 6 games?

Does he really think at all? Would this not fall under unsporting behavior by the FA? Without any proof he is basically saying 2 clubs will cheat and intentionally throw games including a prestigious final. Surely that has to be worse than legitimately criticizing a refs performance!

My thoughts exactly, only as it's 'Arry the FA will no doubt turn a blind eye, hopefully City have it wrapped by then anyway.
