Been a bit of a drum to bang for me lately....but Drogba again for me.

Would of gone for Malouda, but, thought Drogba's inspiration ran through the entire team.

Drogba for me too. Especially since some people wanted him on the bench for some reason.

Drogba, great attitude last night and apart from his skyed free kick I didn't see much about him that looked like his thirty three years were catching up om him.

I am not worried about Torres, he'll be ok after a preseason and regardless if he isn't played to his strengths in his Cameos hes still part of it all and getting game time, Anelka deserved to get game time as well and played ok when he came on.

Malouda had a good game and could easily have got MOM if it wasn't for the best striker on the planet.

Florent Malouda for me, brace in a 3-1 win will do it every time.

Much respect to Mod, who has been his staunchest supporter around here.

DROGBA.

Drogba for the way he scared the crap out of Birminghan from the first second. They did not recover from the trauma for the remaining 90 minutes.

Drogba, an absolute beast. Everyone played well though to be fair, Kalou and Malouda had their best games in a while, midfield trio was excellent, Paulo played very well, Bertrand excellent, JT excellent, Luiz had a late slip up, but he played well generally, Cech had nothing do and had an unstoppable penalty against him, no complaints.

In a game where one bloke gets 2 goals, a debutantee gets an assist and fantastic performance.... Only Drogba could wrap up the MOM without slotting a goal. Dominant performance that should answer any questions of him having a spot with us next season.
