Posted May 3, 201114 yr I have a question. Let's say we have a situation like Lamp's goal where the ref is not sure if the ball crossed the line. Is the ref not allowed to look at the replay on the TV screen in the stadium, or do they not show it until he's made the decision? I've never really looked to see when they show it? And it does make it all stupid, because ww can all see at home in seconds.
May 3, 201114 yr As far as I can remember, they are not allowed to use the big screen to check, and if they do they would get suspended.

May 3, 201114 yr I think the club itself isnt allowed to show any dubious decisions on the big screen anyway, the worry being it could cause a riot.
May 3, 201114 yr i remember a few seasons back, jose got a monitor and wanted the referee to see that he had made a mistake but nothing came of it, i think blueskies is right.
