Daily Mail found AVB's training notes

Featured Replies

Even AVB is using Anelka, Kalou and Sturridge cutting in from the wing with Malouda. He really needs to find the full potential of these strikers to make it work. We have seen it until the point of frustration. That is probably one system against a certain opposition.

But I'm not worried by any means I trust the man to make any system work. This exercise probably gives him an idea if someone needs to be replaced.

Nothing revolutionary in the slightest.

Were you expecting him to reinvent football? I was just happy that he's exploring and emphasising use of width which we've been severely lacking for a long time now.

No, I just don't think it's anything radically different from what we have been doing so far. Considering this is now in the public domain, I think that's a good thing.

The Mail is blowing their horn but in reality they've revealed nothing unique, special or groundbreaking in any shape or form, just more basics.

What is good is to see first hand the detail that AVB and staff are taking already into preseason, when a lot of clubs would still be kicking off fitness work.

I'm not sure how the hell anyone got anything out of those photos, they were minute. With regards to what the Mail says the photos meant, I agree with SydneyChelsea, there's nothing in there that is overly revolutionary.
