Phil Bardsley has been charged with violent conduct by the FA over the stamp on Mata on saturday, and rightly bloody so. Its been almost over looked by pretty much everyone, yet I guarantee if it was Essien doing it to a Sunderland player it would have been on sky sports news on the hour every hour for a day or 2.

after watching the incident it certainly does look like a stamp (in my opinion)

it will be interesting to see the outcome even though it soesnt affect us at this point because it is to late to affect the game we have already played

Good to see, 3 matches is of no comfort to us though. He should have been red carded, which would have helped us out a lot on Saturday.
