He's got great pace in recovering, bit similar to Carvalho back to his best days. You thought you had him beaten, then in a flesh he recovered and cleared the ball. He should play every single game from now on ( maybe apart from the next FA cup game)

another great tackle yesterday this guy is turning into a real monster , although i can see him giving a few penalties  , his speed gets him out of alot of trouble , keep it going kurt zouma :)_

Thought he looked okay personally, not a fantastic game by any means but positive with his movement and was causing Arsenal some problems. 

The problem with booing, is it undermines the players confidence and the media will have a field day reporting how fans have turned on Torres and it just escalates into 'crisis at Chelsea' negativity, all the time!

I don't agree with that. Sh1t fans boo their players and it's hardly likely to make him improve or even want to try for the club is it? 

No-one & I mean no-one should be given any guarantee!

Where are all these Torres apologists that exist in your and others minds, their maybe 1 or 2 people who are in love with Torres regardless, but it feels to a few of us that people hate for him has gone over the top!

Torres is not a girl who puts no effort in, neither does he whinge at every given chance if things don't go his way!
 
He was bought by an owner for a hugely inflated price and asked to play in a style that has never been his, he has tried, and Failed, to adapt to that style, but how is that his fault? It just means that he should never have been bought in the first place!
 
I think even those that support the fact that he has tried have all conceded that it would be better for both parties if we now parted company, that does not mean we have to resort to petty name calling and abusing him as a person.
 
To go back to your post, I would eat my hat if we signed Falcao in January, so I doubt that Torres is overly worried about that, and as an intelligent person and player I'm sure he realises that we need other striking options anyway, so that he can rest in some games.

Eh? That is just so obviously wrong.
Any good forward with a genuine physical presence, or one with bit of pace playing off the shoulder of the last defender and timing his runs would make a whole world of difference to Hazard/Mata/Oscar. For a start it would give them a proper focal point to aim for !!!!! They could hit a 50-50 pass and know a physically capable striker would have a good chance of gathering it. They could hit a ball over the top and know that a striker with some pace and movement would have chance of running onto it!
If you want an example look at the difference Sturridge made when he came on for Torres against the Baggies. Straight away we looked capable of getting in behind them and the link up play between Studge and Mata in particular, was turning their defenders and pulling them out of position. Sturridge's movement, positioning and anticipation was everything Torres' isn't.

Thats no surprise really. He said last summer that he wouldnt go on loan again, it was either play him or sell him. With Oscar and Hazard joining he was pushed further down the ladder. We should put a buy back or future sell on clause in the contract though!

Meireles was outstanding for Portugal last night, and has been very good for them all tournament. He was used in a different way by them to the way we play him, maybe we RDM should take note.

Maybe not brilliant (though he was in the Napoli game) but since the Newcastle game he has been mostly excellent with very few brain farts.

Why is everything about Barcelona? We bring in a new scout and immediately someone says who is he, we should be getting someone from Barcelona. Maybe we should get rid of Doris who makes the tea and get Senorita Dorisa to come in from Barcelona to make sangria for the team....
