Bought tickets for the Sunderland game for Jan 14th , purchased them on Dec 1tth , still havnt arrived . Also bought 4 tickets for a friends brother for his son for Portsmouth game in the cup , bought 4 altogether , 2 arrived , other two no sign of them . How come the Portsmouth tickets arrived before the Sunderland tickets as i bought them a week later .

Bottom line here , im panicking now they wont arrive .Rang the ticket office , they daid they were sent .

I don't think they send them recorded delivery (this usually only applies to cup finals).

Clubhappy - if the worse comes to the worse then the ticket office should be able to produce something on the day for you especially as they have confirmed the tickets have been sent. Just keep pestering them in the meantime and make sure you ask what your options are should they not arrive in time.

Rang them Geezer and they werent very helpful mate , all they said was that they were sent . f**ked if im wasting my sons birthday queing up a a f**king ticket office . The portsmouth tickets are for a friend bough on my membership , he wont have sufficient id if he has to go to the box office . I have the usual emails with the confirmation of purchase , im just f**kin pissed off and concerned .

Happened to me for Hull game, 0-0 Scholari's last game, tickets never arrived, phoned box office and they were useless, sent them an email instead and they couldnt have been any more helpful, had duplicated tickets waiting for me to collect on day of the match.

How long were you quing for Mikey ?

I don't think my tickets for the Pompey game have arrived yet either to be honest, they're usually good at sending out tickets straight away! Sure it'll be fine.

Could the postie nicked em? Hope not.

You should be allright with S/land tickets by showing that confirmation e-mail at box office on day of game and explaining that they never came in the post (thats the worse case scenario).

Make sure you e-mail em again and keep a copy of the e-mail to show you tried to resolve it, in other words a nice paper trail.

The Pompey one, not sure about that.

All told, you will probably get your tickets fine, but I know the feeling of waiting for them to arrive and worrying. Pain in the arse.

Good luck mate.

Cheers for all the replies , my only concern is the Pompey tickets , im not going , i bought them for a friend on my membership , the only person who can pick up duplicate tickets on the days of the game is the individual who originally purchased them , me .

I ordered my Portsmouth tickets on the 22nd and they came on the 24th.

It's a bit stupid if they're going to send mine in 2 days and yours still haven't come!

What a cluster f**k, if they haven't arrived by new years eve I would get on the phone and ask for the manager

AVB? Wow that is going quite high in the pecking order......

:biggrin::laugh2:

Gotta go to the source :good2:

The tickets will come, I have faith, ask them to check again

  • 3 weeks later...

Never had an issue personally - attend plenty games where tickets are posted. I always print off the e-mail confirmation as a back up and take member cards should they get lost.
