What with it being the season to be jolly wondered if anyone had seen any good comics recently? Either live, DVD or on T.V.

I got the Micky Flanagan DVD for my birthday a couple of weeks back and for the most part it is very good, however I thought the routines that he is famous for were a bit 'wedged in' but I would still recomend it.

Also got the Lee Evans Roadrunner DVD for Christmas but I'm yet to watch it.

If any of you live in south London I'd recommend going to a little comedy club in Greenwich 'Up the Creek' usually has some very good acts and then turns into a nightclub when the comedy has finished.

I got a Tim Minchin DVD last year, and find him hilarious. Here's a wee snippet to whet your appetites

Got the Mickey Flannagan dvd for chrimbo, along with Sean Lock one. I got my wife Sarah Millican`s one and were gonna watch all 3 on new years eve for a nice comedy fest. My favourite over the past years though has been either Bill Bailey or Ross Noble, both manically mental but very funny.

Hes brilliant moos, Black Books is a brilliantly underrated programme too.

Why do I feel I'm being got at??? He's right about the shoes, by the way!

Here's some more Tim Minchin

DKW make sure that young Emily Rose has got her ears closed when you watch Micky Flanagan, its a little near the mark in bits!!

EDIT: by the way good choice with Ross Noble, who is best described as a lunatic!
