Sky Sports:

Chelsea midfielder Joe Cole has vowed to return to action before the end of the season.

Cole has seen his campaign dogged by injuries this term after missing the start of the season with a foot injury.

The England international has not played since breaking his foot against Manchester United in November and he was forced to go under the knife.

Blues boss Jose Mourinho expected Cole to be missing for the rest of the season, but the former West Ham man is determined to play some part in the remainder of the campaign.

"I need to stay positive to help my body heal and I've used this injury as the chance to look at everything in my game," said Cole.

"I'm trying to take this time out to come back leaner, stronger and faster.

"I don't want anyone to know my comeback targets but I will have a part to play this season.

"I've got games in me this season and I'm really excited about coming back to help the boys win some trophies."

That's the news I've been waiting to hear.

I love the scenario:

FA Cup Final - 1st at the new Wembley. Chelsea v Man Utd

& Joe scores the winner - a goal just like the one he put past them at The Bride last season

Don't forget about his winner in the Champions League final icon_wink.gif

Joe would have had a field day against Forest. He has this habbit of taking the ball with him when he goes past a player. Crazy I know.
