dkw Posted March 11, 2007 Posted March 11, 2007 looking foward to this game, hopefully get to see sinclair and gosling play.
BlueBeard Posted March 11, 2007 Posted March 11, 2007 Yeah - I'm also looking forward to this one. Plymouth Argyle have always been one of my favourite 'other' teams, and I reckon they've got a decent chance today. Should be great to see Sinclair play, and also interesting to see this Gosling fella. COME ON ARGYLE!!!!!
Maksimov Posted March 11, 2007 Posted March 11, 2007 Who was the other Plymouth player that we were supposed to be interested in?
BlueBeard Posted March 11, 2007 Posted March 11, 2007 Who was the other Plymouth player that we were supposed to be interested in? Luke Summerfield, I believe. Don't know much about him, but he did well for me in FM2007
Joel Posted March 11, 2007 Posted March 11, 2007 Saw the last 25 minutes or so, simply dreadful game. Plymouth would have done well to actually keep the ball and attempt to do something with it. Instead that entire time they lumped it high and long with their first touch EVERY time they saw it. Only real chance they created while I watched was a good free kick from the left that almost resulted in an own goal.
Jack Posted March 11, 2007 Posted March 11, 2007 I had a few quid on Watford - didn't bother watching it 'cos it was always going to be terrible football, but the extra dosh is most welcome!
Paul_Seery Posted March 11, 2007 Posted March 11, 2007 So its Watford and Blackburn that have made it to the semi finals. If Chelsea were to get pass Tottenham who would other members want in the semi finals?
The Moos Posted March 11, 2007 Posted March 11, 2007 So its Watford and Blackburn that have made it to the semi finals. If Chelsea were to get pass Tottenham who would other members want in the semi finals? I would fancy getting Watford. If ManU makes it through then they would have a hard time against Blackburn. Watford is the "easier" team.

Watford is the "easier" team. If we get through and face Blackburn I would not be that confident in getting past them. The reason being that we have played them 3 times this season and have beaten them on all occasions and have scored 7 goals ibn the prcess and not conceded in any of them.
midlandblue Posted March 12, 2007 Posted March 12, 2007 would you feel more confident if they had beaten us on the previous 3 occasions and sored a hat full of goals against us, while we failed to bother the score sheet?

Maybe he's thinking of the laws of probability and reckons that they're due a win against us(?)
midlandblue Posted March 12, 2007 Posted March 12, 2007 oh I see, like when Spurs beat us........after how many games? don't think it was 3.

Maybe he's thinking of the laws of probability and reckons that they're due a win against us(?) It like to call it the law of averages theory, like what happend in the 2004-2005 season against Liverpool. We played them five times, winning three and losing 1. Rest assured, I don't want us to get Balckburn if Chelsea get that far. Hell if we get Manchester United or Middlesbrough I think we would stand a better chance of getting to the final. Hopefully if we can get past Tottenham that is
midlandblue Posted March 12, 2007 Posted March 12, 2007 Sorry, can't agree. Given the choice of Man. Utd. or Blackburn in the semi-final of the FA Cup, there will always be one answer. Always.
